Glad the nation is discovering Lewis Dunk. I have him as my captain this week, but I am a Seagull.

Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Adam Lallana nicks a clever through ball into the path of Leandro Trossard but the Belgian's shot is blocked.
Now Lewis Dunk's long ball is just beyond Neal Maupay.

Jonny Bowman: Cannot see this being anything other than a comfortable Brighton win. We have no fight in us under Steve Bruce and quite frankly deserve to be relegated.
Nico Lennon: Pains me to say it but NUFC are going down with a whimper at this rate. Sat far too deep, no appetite, no threat. We deserve to get relegated playing like this.
Jonathan: It's almost as if Steve Bruce is trying to get himself sacked with these tactics. He literally hasn't learned a single thing at all this season, has he.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Javier Manquillo is caught by a high Jakub Moder boot and needs treatment. The Newcastle defender is back on now but hobbling a bit.
Did you really buy Joelinton?! There's differentials and then there's that.
@Andrew Neill 20:11, I can top that. I've gone for three Brighton defenders - it's win win.
Chris in Oxford (a nervous Newcastle fan)
I went for the ridiculous Fantasy football differential that is Joe from Linton.
Steve, Northumberland
I went for the differential, come on Veltman!
Kash, Manchester
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Ciaran Clark sprays a nice ball forward but Brighton keeper Robert Sanchez - who is in the Spain squad - comes to the edge of his box to catch.

Jay Perry: Can anybody who watched Dier against Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb talk me through Southgate’s decision to include him ahead of Dunk? It makes it look like Southgate hasn’t watched any football recently.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
It's 4-0 on shots, 78-22% on possession. Two Newcastle players have only had two touches of the ball.

Brighton one point above Newcastle, yet we're letting them play like they're two leagues above. Bruce must go!

Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Joelinton does well to chest down a long Jonjo Shelvey pass but a Brighton defender then takes the ball off him and clears.

Andrew Neill: I brought in Dunk on fantasy football too but more because I was trying to tempt fate as an NUFC fan...
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Another Brighton shot. Leandro Trossard pulls the ball back for Yves Bissouma, but his shot from 25 yards out doesn't have sufficent power and it's a straightforward save.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
A nice Brighton passing move round the box but it ends when Jakub Moder can't find a team-mate.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
This game has gone exactly as most people would have expected so far.
Jonjo Shelvey tries to start a first Newcastle attack (after more than nine minutes) but Yves Bissouma slides in to win the ball.

Rob Gibson: This first 5 minutes, it is CLEAR that Bruce is hoping to avoid defeat rather than win the game, and that is the problem. That is what Newcastle fans are annoyed about, we want a team that tries to win!
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
The ball's in the net but the whistle had long gone. Lewis Dunk heads the ball into the air and Neal Maupay bundles over goalkeeper Martin Dubravka. Miguel Almiron clears the ball straight to Maupay but the referee had already given a foul. Maupay scores just to be safe but VAR won't even need to look at that.
Brighton 0-0 Newcastle
Brighton win their first corner now. Pascal Gross blasts in a low cross from the right which Ciaran Clark turns behind for a corner.
I think everybody has signed Lewis Dunk this week. (I did anyway)
