    Leicester 5-0 Sheffield United

All over. Stunning performance from Leicester and Kelechi Iheanacho in particular. Sheffield United were poor defensively. They looked like a team who lost a manager that meant a lot to players, fans and the club as a whole.

Leicester have scored five here and could have scored more.

Sheffield United have never looked like they've had a game plan.

They're sitting behind the ball but they've offered very little going forward.

Not often Leicester score five goals and Jamie Vardy's name isn't on the scoresheet. He's got two assists though of course, and it was his strike which went in off Ethan Ampadu for Leicester's fifth.

Clear-out needs to start with Prince Abdullah. Everyone and their mother could see what was needed in the January window. Good luck Chris, none of this is your fault. Only thing lower than Blades' goal tally this season is the board's IQ.

I've said it before, nothing good will ever happen to a team playing in pink for absolutely no reason.

Deldude: I loved the build up to that (fourth) goal...it was Wilfred Ndidi to Kelechi Ihenacho and boom it’s a hat-trick. That is good news for the Nigerian Football Association.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang drops to the bench as Alexandre Lacazette starts up front for Arsenal in one of three changes made by MIkel Arteta from Thursday's 3-1 Europa League win at Olympiakos.

Arsenal XI: Leno, Cedric, Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Saka, Odegaard, Smith Rowe, Lacazette.

Subs: Ryan, Bellerin, Holding, Chambers, Elneny, Ceballos, Willian, Pepe, Aubameyang.

Ryan Howard: Just to correct Dave at 15:00 - Iheanacho has scored a goal every 137 minutes in the past 2 seasons, while Jesus has scored one every 150 minutes (in a better team). I'd rather have Iheanacho

  15. 'Iheanacho in great form'published at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2021

    Leicester 5-0 Sheffield United

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Newcastle and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It all started with Ethan Ampadu giving the ball away [in the build-up to the fourth goal], within seconds, Wilfred Ndidi gives it to Kelechi Iheanacho.

Nobody goes to him, they all back off.

He takes it from 20 yards out and Aaron Ramsdale has no chance. A brilliant hat-trick. He's in great form.

  16. CLOSE!published at 83 mins

    Leicester 5-0 Sheffield United

    it should be six.

Jamie Vardy gets to the byline with ease on the left and tees up Kelechi Iheanacho. For the first time in the game, he gets it all wrong, firing over the bar from close range.

    It was another BIG chance.

  17. 'They haven't turned up'published at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2021

    Leicester 5-0 Sheffield United

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Newcastle and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

They get a lot of good fortune in the middle of the park.

Vardy hits it across the goal and Ampadu has to slide across. Vardy would love to claim it but that is an own goal.

With the manager gone, Sheffield United haven't turned up today. Leicester have been good, Sheffield United have been very poor.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 82 mins

A few changes in between and after the fourth and fifth goals.

Iliman Ndiaye replaces Oliver Norwood for Sheffield United, while Thakgalo Leshabela is on for Ayoze Perez, who gets a standing ovation from an onlooking James Maddison as he comes off.

Blades desperately need to have an end-of-season clear-out. There's limited quality in the squad and confidence is shattered. Everyone needs a fresh start and some new ideas. Only a handful deserve to stay.

    Oh dear...

Jamie Vardy gets away down the left again. He shoots from a tight angle and with Kelech Iheanacho waiting at the back post, Ethan Ampadu tries to block it by sliding in and ends up poking it past his own goalkeeper from a yard out.

    This is getting messy.
