    Bristol City 0-6 Chelsea

Maren Mjelde is being taken to hospital to assess what seems to be a very serious knee injury.

Meanwhile, on the pitch, City attack again and force a corner.

They cannot fashion a chance and Chelsea quickly break but Drew Spence cannot guide in Erin Cuthbert's sweet cross.

We are back under way again. Technically there are eight minutes to play but there will be a lot of injury time.

Maren Mjelde is carried off after lengthy treatment. That's devastating for the Norwegian defender.

There's a lot of concern for Maren Mjelde who has gone down. The stretcher is on. Aimee Palmer made the challenge but it was in no way malicious. It looked like Mjelde just twisted her knee as the challenge came in.

    Bristol City 0-6 Chelsea

City's Gemma Evans and Chelsea keeper Ann-Katrin Berger have both had treatment after a challenge but are OK to continue.

The Blues are swiftly on the attack and Evans is back in place to clear the danger at the expense of a corner.

Another chance for City and another good save by Chelsea keeper Ann Katrin Berger, who sticks out her right hand to push away an Ebony Salmon shot as the striker runs through on the right.

It was a great pass by Charlie Wellings.

    Bristol City 0-6 Chelsea

Aimee Palmer immediately has a chance for City from a Faye Brayson cross, but her near-post header is tame and straight at Chelsea keeper Ann-Katrin Berger.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 67 mins

    Bristol City 0-6 Chelsea

City make their second change, bringing on Aimee Palmer for Carla Humphrey.

  9. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Bristol City 0-6 Chelsea

City briefly threaten again but Charlie Wellings cannot get on the end of a dangerous cross when any sort of touch would have probably resulted in a goal.

There's a gulf in class - clearly - but the effort and spirit has been there, without a doubt.

But will this drubbing knock their confidence in their WSL relegation fight?

Richard Cohen: Yet again, Sam Kerr's finishing has been poor, and she's scored a hatful anyway. If she could've actually been clinical to add to her pace and movement she'd already have 50 this season.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

    Bristol City 0-6 Chelsea

Sam Kerr's work is done and so is Fran Kirby's. They are replaced by talented young duo Niamh Charles and Jess Carter.

Emma Hayes will be delighted, not just because of the goals in the first half, but how Chelsea performed. There was possible talk of them being fatigued after Champions League football, but they haven't shown signs of that and have really shown how much quality they have on the ball.

  13. CLOSE!published at 58 mins

    Bristol City 0-6 Chelsea

Almost a goal for City's Ebony Salmon. The recently capped England forward glides past Millie Bright on the left but her blasted effort is well saved by Ann-Katrin Berger.

That looked like a sympathy vote for Bristol City who survive strong penalty claims as Keira Skeels tussles with Fran Kirby in the box. The England striker goes down and is furious she hasn't been awarded a spot-kick.

    Guro Reiten (55 mins)

Fran Kirby sets up another, this time for Guro Reiten.

Poor as City have been, Chelsea's attacking football is glorious to watch.

Sub Drew Spence plays in Kirby down the left and Kirby takes her time, checks to see if anyone else is in a better position and picks out Reiten, who strokes the ball in from six yards.

    Bristol City 0-5 Chelsea

Fran Kirby has a shot blocked. Chelsea are showing no signs of letting up. It's desperate stuff for Bristol City and Chelsea are in no mood to go easy.

Kirby is then denied a shooting opportunity but a fine Faye Bryson block.

    Sam Kerr (48 mins)

    Sam Kerr has her treble.

It's another glorious breakaway goal for the Blues. Ann-Katrin Berger thumps the ball clear and Chelsea once again work it to Fran Kirby.

She looks up and knocks the ball across to Kerr who has another tap-in.

    It's Groundhog Day for City.
