It was comfortably over the line. Luke Ayling is behind the line trying to defend it.

But it was poor play in midfield from Raphinha which led to the Sheffield United break and their first real attempt on goal.

GOAL - Leeds 1-1 Sheff Utdpublished at 45+2 mins

    Ben Osborn

    It's been given!

Oliver McBurnie is unmarked in the box and he goes for goal, drilling it towards the far corner.

It's deflected and falls to Ben Osborn, who helps it over the line. Luke Ayling tries to keep it out but goalline technology steps in immediately and it's clear it's crossed the line.

  7. 'They don't have any options'published at 15:47 British Summer Time 3 April 2021

    Leeds 1-0 Sheff Utd

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Aston Villa, Leeds & Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

They just don’t have any options at the moment, Sheffield United, and I feel for them because of the change of formation - they are so used to being in a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3, whichever way they switch it during a game.

John Lundstram looks so uncomfortable out on that right hand side, he keeps on drifting inside but there are just no options when the back players get the ball, with the press of Leeds that keeps on forcing them into errors.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 45 mins

    Leeds 1-0 Sheff Utd

George Baldock still isn't right. He's going to come off following that earlier knock he took to his head on landing following his challenge on Tyler Roberts.

On comes Ethan Ampadu for Sheffield United.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 44 mins

    Leeds 1-0 Sheff Utd

David McGoldrick slips and grabs the ball to stop Liam Cooper taking it off him.

He won't get away with that though and it's a soft yellow.

Tom Sharpe: Best signing of the season is Emi Martinez. It's not close.

Ashwin R: Raphinha for £30m is a steal compared to the huge money Dortmund were asking for Sancho.

  11. CLOSE!published at 42 mins

    Leeds 1-0 Sheff Utd

Tyler Roberts tees himself up on the edge of the box but fires it inches wide of the right post. Decent effort.

  12. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Leeds 1-0 Sheff Utd

Nothing comes of the corner but Sheffield United retain possession.

Oliver McBurnie then whips it past the six-yard area but David McGoldrick can't quite get there.

    Dangerous.

  13. Postpublished at 39 mins

    Leeds 1-0 Sheff Utd

Much better from Sheffield United. They create some space on the right and Jayden Bogle wriggles away.

He drives towards the byline but Jack Harrison comes across to cover and concedes a corner.

Dan Plumley: Raphinha surely the best signing of any club this season, always looks angry and hungry.

Jamie Brilley: That's got to be a red card for Baldock. Two footed and out of control.

George Baldock is being checked over for concussion on the sidelines. Ethan Ampadu is warming up just in case.

Play continues with Sheffield United down to 10 men but Kalvin Phillips' shot is fired over from the corner.

  18. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Leeds 1-0 Sheff Utd

George Baldock came clattering into Tyler Roberts in the build-up to that chance and both players felt it.

Baldock seems to have come off worse. He's still down getting treatment.

  19. CLOSE!published at 32 mins

    Leeds 1-0 Sheff Utd

John Fleck nut-megs Luke Ayling but is forced back to Enda Stevens. Sheffield United try to bring Oliver McBurnie into play but David McGoldrick's pass is loose.

Leeds break down the right, it's poked through to Jack Harrison by Tyler Roberts but his shot rolls JUST wide of the far post after taking a slight touch off Aaron Ramsdale.
