Physically, Leeds are unbelievable the way they close down. I remember people saying 'they will get tired, they will get fatigued...' They perhaps will at times but not this early in games.

After 70-80 minutes they might drop off a little bit but their work-rate is just sensational.

Raphinha is then played through a few moments later, but when it comes across to Jack Harrison he hesitates and loses possession.

It’s like he’s got Velcro on his feet, Raphinha, when he dribbles with the ball, he keeps it so close to him, so compact to his body, defenders can’t dive in once he gets them into the penalty area.

He just ghosts past Enda Stevens, who pulls out of the challenge so as to not give away a penalty – he knows if he touches him, he goes down.

He rolls it across the six-yard box and it’s a simple tap-in at the far post for Jack Harrison. What a start for Leeds United.

That run was simply sensational.

A deserved lead for Leeds after almost 15 minutes. Sheffield United haven't generated any chances yet.

I thought Raphinha was going to score an own goal – it was actually a good recovery run to spot the danger.

It’s been a good response from Sheffield United because Leeds started the game very sharply in the first couple of minutes.

But whenever Sheffield United have gone forward, they have caused Leeds problems at the back.

Kalvin Phillips picks off Phil Jagielka's loose pass to John Lundstram and sees Aaron Ramsdale out of position.

He hits it early, aiming for the bottom left corner, but Ramsdale just about scrambles across to make the save.

A few moments later, Phillips has another go from outside the box but it's more comfortable for Ramsdale.

David McGoldrick tries to drive it through to Ben Osborn on the far side of the area but Raphinha gets back just in time to poke it out for a corner.

He wasn't far away from putting it into his own net either! Important defending in the end.

John Lundstram takes one for the team and brings down Tyler Roberts, who was racing away in the middle with numbers in support for Leeds.

Ezgjan Alioski links up with Tyler Roberts but he loses his footing on the edge of the box and the ball gets away from him.

Plenty of space for Leeds very early on.

Sheffield United eventually get the ball down and David McGoldrick finds Oliver McBurnie but he has it robbed off him on the edge of the area.

Tyler Roberts is brought down just outside the box within seconds of kick-off.

Raphinha takes it but curls it high and wide.
