A sight of goal for Sergio Aguero, peeling away at the back post to meet a looping cross from Gabriel Jesus but Jonny Evans is able to make a telling block. The movement to find space was vintage stuff.

A wonderful understatement from JP on comms there when he says that a point 'wouldn't be a disaster for Manchester City.'

I mean they are on track to go 15 points clear at the top.

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Kevin de Bruyne delivers a delicious ball in from wide right but Rodri can't sort his feet out to get a shot away.

And then Leicester counter, Kelechi Iheanacho runs at the Manchester City backline and finds Youri Tielemans on his right. The Belgian shoots low but Ruben Dias appears from nowhere to make a splendid block.

    Opening up?

This hasn't been a thriller for the neutral I must say, though we have had two disallowed goals and a free-kick off the bar.

Gabriel Jesus nearly finds Sergio Aguero inside the area but he's well shepherded out, before Youri Tielemans lasers a low drive at Ederson for Leicester's first attempt on target.

The joys of possession football are yet to engulf Preston and Morecambe it seems.

We had this argument about Spain when they were bossing tournaments between 2008-12 didn't we?

People rave about this Manchester City team, yes they score goals, yes they win games; and yes they're probably going to win the league. But oh my god, they are absolutely dire to watch! Possession football kills the game!

Alan: Modern football is terrible. Centre halves passing to full backs who cut back and feed the keeper... no crosses into the box..no corners..no action

Harry: If you find this game boring. Stop whining and switch over. Talk about being spoiled little brats with today’s exciting football.

Very encouraging to see James Maddison out warming up for Leicester. Just another selection headache for Gareth Southgate.

As it was before the International break, this season has just petered out, it'll be one of the most forgettable in history. Roll on August (fingers crossed).

Possession football is so overrated - yawnnn!

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

    One disallowed each!

That was a thing of beauty too, Ayoze Perez plays in Jamie Vardy who dances around Ederson and clips in - but the flag is up.

    He's well offside.

And that's close as well - the champions elect look for an opener before the break. Gabriel Jesus holds off his man and tolls him before bending a shot just over the top from about 16 yards.

Chance! The game sparks to life as Riyad Mahrez pushes Sergio Aguero out of the way and fires in a low shot which Kasper Schmeichel is able to kick out, before Kevin de Bruyne curls wide from long range.

Celticnews: Barely a dribble or a man taken on in football anymore ... boring. Pass teams to death, but pass the fans to sleep.

Ash Williams: Typical that city have loads of possession but 2 shots attempted

I wouldn't want to be the person in charge of the MOTD running order - this game looked to be a cert to be up at the top but it's been very cagey so far.
