  1. 'We dominated large parts'published at 18:05 British Summer Time 3 April 2021

    FT: Leeds 2-1 Sheff Utd

    Leeds United

Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa to BBC Sport:

"We think we managed to dominate large parts of the game. We had chances to score more goals and there were a lot of dangerous actions that didn't finish in shots that would have increased the number of chances we had.

"But as we didn't establish more than a one-goal difference and as we didn't convert any more of these chances, the final part of the game left a sensation that we were hanging on.

"I keep on hearing about the effect of the 40 points but I am still not convinced that it is enough, with there still being 24 points to play for.

"For a definitive evaluation of how we have done, we have to play these remaining eight games.

"The important thing is how the remaining eight games play out, to see the final points total that we make and that will be the best moment to make a definitive analysis."

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Leicester could become just the fourth team to complete a league double over a side managed by Pep Guardiola, after Chelsea in 2016-17 and Manchester United and Wolves last season.

They haven't had a shot yet in the opening half, mind.

You'll need to remind me when the offside law changed to include the subjective decision on whether or not the goalie could have saved it. The ball whistled past Aguero, who tried to play it, whilst standing offside in Schmeichel's eyeline. No goal, all day long.

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

That's very nearly a brilliant opening goal. Sergio Aguero drops off deep and finds Riyad Mahrez, he slides in Gabriel Jesus who is clear of Daniel Amartey and pulls it back across goal. It would be a tap-in for Aguero but Kasper Schmeichel reads it and gathers.

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

There's just no out ball at all for Leicester. Vardy and Iheanacho have had nine touches between them.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 23 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

The contentious free-kick is almost vital as Kevin de Bruyne rattles the crossbar!

What technique, that toe-punt, Drogba/Ronaldo style shot that dips so quickly and thumps the bar. Unlucky!

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Kevin de Bruyne shoots and blasts it over. He appeals for a foul and gets one - although there didn't appear much in that. Free-kick in a decent spot.

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Manchester City's high press catches Leicester out as Timothy Castagne's clearance is charged down, it allows Sergio Aguero to get a shot away but he fires well over the top.

It was a tough one, waist-high volley on the spin but he will still be disappointed with the finish.

Pathetic decision. Aguero or not Schemichel could have seen that shot coming a mile away.

    Daniel

No way on earth is Schmeichel saving that, whether Aguero is there or not. Joke.

    Dave, Manchester.

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Manchester City are up to over 60% of the ball as they patiently probe and push back Leicester. They're looking to get in on the overlap out wide but Leicester's back three/five are making that tough at the moment.

  11. 'We let Leeds off the hook'published at 17:42 British Summer Time 3 April 2021

    FT: Leeds 2-1 Sheff Utd

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United goalscorer Ben Osborn to BBC Sport:

"We're not too happy to be fair, again not really faulting the effort but we were just sloppy at times, giving the ball away under no pressure.

"There were times in the game where we felt we were playing well but we let them off the hook with a bad decision or a bad pass and they would break on us, which they are really good at, and it would give them momentum back to them.

"We want to try to finish the season with a bit of pride and Paul [Heckingbottom] has been great since he came in. It's been a tough period for the club."

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Manchester City playing like Big Sam's Albion at the moment, countering with pace and moving the ball superbly. Leicester could do with a spell of possession to take the sting out of it.

That's a let-off for Leicester, who had made the better start. Now kevin de Bruyne is able to clip in a good cross but Jonny Evans heads away with authority.

    Breaking

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Well that was a quick decision!

Fernandinho absolutely leathers in a low shot from 25 yards and it skids into the bottom corner. Kasper Schmeichel and his defenders immediately protest for offside and Sergio Aguero was right in the keeper's eyeline.

I think it's a fair call to rule that out, although the strike was so clean that Schmeichel may not have got near it anyway.

    We stay at 0-0.

The inclusion of Sergio Aguero today means that Gabriel Jesus will be asked to work from the left wing. Kevin de Bruyne tracks back but fouls Jamie Vardy, who has just one goal in his last 16 games surprisingly...

  17. 'A change of perspective'published at 17:32 British Summer Time 3 April 2021

    FT: Leeds 2-1 Sheff Utd

    Leeds United

Leeds goalscorer Jack Harrison to BBC Sport on seeing a sports psychologist:

"It’s just a change of perspective – for some players when maybe you are going through a bit of a rough patch and you know you’re doing everything you can but it’s just not working I think you have to try a few alternative solutions and that was one of the things that I found has helped me so I would recommend it to anyone."

  20. 'A lot of proud Leeds fans out there'published at 17:29 British Summer Time 3 April 2021

    FT: Leeds 2-1 Sheff Utd

    Leeds United

Leeds goalscorer Jack Harrison to BBC Sport:

"It's really important as a winger to be in the right place at the right time but I have to give a lot of the credit to Raphinha - he did all the work to create that opportunity of mine and he was very unselfish.

"I think we can be happy with how the season has gone so far and I think there will be a lot of proud Leeds fans out there but we're always going to be ambitious as a team and pushing for as many points as we can get so we will be doing that until the end of the season. It would be great for us to finish in the top half of the table."
