  1. 'We're a different team'published at 16:10 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

Aston Villa v Fulham (16:30 BST)

    Fulham

Fulham boss Scott Parker, speaking to Sky Sports: "Jack Grealish is a top player but he's not on the team sheet. In terms of us, it's what we need to do. Our focus is on us. We're a different team to the one that lost 3-0 at home to Villa last September."

  2. 'We're willing to fight'published at 16:09 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

    FT: Newcastle 2-2 Tottenham

    Newcastle United

Newcastle's Joe Willock to Sky Sports: "The boys did really well. I'm an Arsenal player so [scoring against Spurs] does make it a bit sweeter but I'm just happy to come here, do my job and make an impact like the manager told me to do.

"[Steve Bruce] told me to come on, run around and get in the box to try and score goals. I'm happy I was able to do that.

"As a group of players, we're all willing to fight for each other. If we continue to play how we did today we will have no problems staying in this league."

  3. 'Aim is to finish season strongly'published at 16:08 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa's England forward Ollie Watkins, speaking to Sky Sports: "Coming off the back of the international break, we've had a little bit of time to gather ourselves, refresh and go again.

"Our aim between now and the end of the season is to win as many games as possible. We know we're capable of it.

"We started the season strongly and had a bit of a dip. Hopefully I can score more goals and help and the team."

Apparently this is an excellent performance from Newcastle. I should expect Bruce will say something similar. If an excellent home performance is only a draw against a way below-par Spurs team then I can only see relegation come the end of the season. Depressing.

Mourinho out. Our best assets sitting on the bench, no rhythm, no fluency, a complete reliance on Harry to win games. Signings have been poor and nowhere near the level needed to improve us.

It could be a very vital point indeed for the Magpies in the fight for survival.

This time last year Villa were in the fight but they're in safe waters 12 months on. A point today would send them back above Arsenal and Leeds and up to ninth.

It's a tough one for Newcastle fans because they are desperate for the three points and they probably deserved it. They didn't take as many opportunities as top-class strikers would, but they kept putting their bodies in the way. I think that would have been very tough on them had they not got at least a point.

  9. 'We've learned a lot since Villa beat us'published at 16:02 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

Aston Villa v Fulham (16:30 BST)

    Fulham

Fulham forward Bobby Decordova-Reid, speaking to Sky Sports: "The challenge for us between now and the end of the season is a big one and we're going to relish it.

"Our form has been good lately. We've been hard to beat and we can be dangerous going forward. I think we have learned a lot since Aston Villa beat us 3-0 at Craven Cottage last September.

"Hopefully you will see that today."

I think Steve Bruce has done a really good job today, an exceptional job, of getting the best out of his players. Every change he's made has had a positive effect.
