  1. 'Henderson got very, very lucky'published at 20:01 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

    Man Utd 0-1 Brighton

    Michael Brown
Former Sheffield United midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

There were four or five Brighton players all around Dean Henderson. It was a comfortable catch - it was probably too comfortable. He took his eye off it, dropped it and got very, very lucky.

    Man Utd 0-1 Brighton

Joel Veltman is a little too eager to win back possession, catching Bruno Fernandes from behind.

Half an hour played. Man Utd haven't created any clear-cut chances - Mason Greenwood's strike which hit the post their best chance so far.

    Oooh. Nervy.

Pascal Gross' corner is claimed by Dean Henderson but then spilled by the Man Utd goalkeeper in the six-yard area.

He just about gets away with it... Harry Maguire reacted quickly.

Here we go again with Man Utd! No spark, no enthusiasm and no ideas from Solskjaer!

Bit of bias creeping in obviously but given the way Brighton play I'd reckon a lot of non Seagulls would like them to stay in the PL for another season at least.

Neal Maupay shows great skill to wriggle away from two players in the left corner.

Paul Pogba eventually mops up but Brighton are putting United under pressure. Adam Lallana then dances into the box but it races away from him at the end.

  6. Novelty for Brighton to lead at Old Traffordpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

    Man Utd 0-1 Brighton

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

I make it March 1983 the last time Brighton took the lead at Old Trafford.

Steve Gatting scored the early opener in a 1-1 draw.

Danny Welbeck scored the winner here for Arsenal in an FA Cup quarter-final in 2015.

Luke Shaw's cross is over the head of Edinson Cavani but Aaron Wan-Bissaka gets to the clearance ahead of Danny Welbeck.

  8. 'End to end'published at 19:53 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

    Man Utd 0-1 Brighton

Former Sheffield United midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's end to end. Mistakes are happening and Manchester United look uncertain at the back. Full credit to Brighton, when they get in those areas they're in there quick, the delivery's been good. I'd expect United to push Brighton back.

Jonny Guckian: Wan-Bissaka had an absolute disaster against Brighton at the Amex earlier this season. It’s clear they’re targeting him again, successfully. We never seem to learn.

    Man Utd 0-1 Brighton

Pascal Gross' delivery is put into an awkward area but Dean Henderson does enough to bundle it away.

He's made a decent start despite conceding.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 19 mins

    Man Utd 0-1 Brighton

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is penalised for handball near the left touchline and it's a nice position for Brighton.

Pascal Gross curls it in and Lewis Dunk's header flicks off the top of the crossbar!

Dean Henderson got a touch on it too. It's a corner.

  12. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Man Utd 0-1 Brighton

Danny Welbeck is now the first former Manchester United player to score three Premier League goals against them after leaving the club (having played for them in the top-flight).

  13. 'Henderson is so unfortunate'published at 19:46 British Summer Time 4 April 2021

    Man Utd 0-1 Brighton

    Michael Brown
Former Sheffield United midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a brilliant save by Dean Henderson and he's so unfortunate that it ricochets right back past him. It's headed into the ground and he stays big, saves and it just pops up.

GOAL - Man Utd 0-1 Brightonpublished at 13 mins

    Danny Welbeck

    Who else!?

Former Manchester United academy graduate Danny Welbeck gets one against his old club.

It's a brilliant cross in from the right by Neal Maupay, Welbeck gets there ahead of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and heads it towards goal.

Dean Henderson initially makes a smart save but it comes back to Welbeck and he taps the rebound in from a few yards out.

  15. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Brighton

Danny Welbeck nods a cross back into the centre for Leandro Trossard.

Harry Maguire does well to pull his leg away and prevent giving away a penalty, before Victor Lindelof shields Trossard away from the ball.

    Smart defending.

  16. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Brighton

Chance for Brighton as Jakub Moder is played in behind on the left. He tries to cut it back into the middle and it falls for Joel Veltman.

He has space to shoot on the edge of the box but he doesn't and the chance goes begging.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 9 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Brighton

Bruno Fernandes plays it into the middle for Paul Pogba. It's half-cleared by Brighton but Mason Greenwood picks it up just inside the box.

He hits it first time on the half volley and it smacks off the outside of the right post!

    Man Utd 0-0 Brighton

    Michael Brown
Former Sheffield United midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I thought Yves Bissouma had gone down just to try and buy the free-kick, but sometimes it's those little nudges that can be really uncomfortable, in the back or the shoulder blade.

  19. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Brighton

Edinson Cavani, who went up for the aerial challenge with Yves Bissouma, comes across to see if he's okay.

It looks like he'll be good to carry on though.

  20. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Brighton

Yves Bissouma has landed awkwardly and has hurt his arm/wrist. He's in a lot of pain too.

Brighton put the ball out of play so he can get some treatment.
