This could work in Everton's favour - getting some pace into the team with Alex Iwobi. Richarlison has been really isolated.

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

As I mentioned before, Everton are tight on options coming off the bench.

Five of those substitutes have never played a league game. There are just two Premier League appearances between the seven others excluding Alex Iwobi.

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Good pressure from Everton and Brighton have to work hard to try and free up some space.

They go from right to left, front to back before Neal Maupay's touch lets him down.

Brighton win it back shortly after though - Danny Welbeck feeding Maupay, whose strike is deflected out for a corner.

Everton are very thin on the bench tonight remember. Lots of injuries. Alex Iwobi the only real option to turn to.

Brighton have the likes of Alexis Mac Allister, Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Steven Alzate on their bench.

Brighton have probably looked better in possession. I have been disappointed in Everton. They need to get players further up the pitch. I want to see more from the midfield players because I can't see them scoring at the moment.

    FT: West Brom 3-0 Southampton

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at the Hawthorns

West Brom boss Sam Allardyce was in a good mood after tonight's victory, albeit in the knowledge his side are still eight points from safefy.

"It is one of many top quality performances over the past eight or 10 games but we haven't received the credit because we didn’t win," he said.

"We have missed out on many points due to our poor finishing.

"We have had two very important wins that are pricking up people’s ears but unfortunately we have to rely on other people losing."
