GOAL - West Brom 3-0 Southamptonpublished at 69 mins

    Callum Robinson

    Wow!

I take it back Sam, the gameplan has worked to a T so far. It's slid through to Callum Robinson. He takes one touch to gain a yard then absolutely thumps it into the back of the net.

Huge lead for West Brom now.

    West Brom 2-0 Southampton

Callum Robinson flicks it on to Matheus Pereira. He's being pulled back by Ibrahima Diallo but referee Simon Hooper plays advantage as he tries to feed it through to Mbaye Diagne.

He can't find him so it's pulled back for a free-kick which Okay Yokuslu curls over the bar.

    Solid officiating by Hooper though.

    West Brom 2-0 Southampton

Not sure about this gameplan from West Brom. They can't get out of their own box at the moment.

Southampton are finding spaces, moving the ball well but can't find that final pass. Okay Yokuslu just about deals with the latest move and concedes a corner.

    West Brom 2-0 Southampton

Few faint appeals for a penalty by Southampton for Nathan Redmond but he's sharply up to chase the ball.

He twisted inside and lost his own footing by the looks of it.

  13. Team news - Calvert-Lewin not in squadpublished at 19:20 British Summer Time 12 April 2021

    Brighton v Everton (20:15 BST)

    Everton

The headline team news from tonight's late game is there is no Dominic Calvert-Lewin for Everton. The striker not in the squad.

Midfielder Andre Gomes is also out with a thigh injury. Ben Godfrey and Gylfi Sigurdsson come in. Allan is still out.

The injuries mean it's a very inexperienced Everton bench.

Everton XI: Olsen, Coleman, Holgate, Keane, Mina, Sigurdsson, Digne, James Rodriguez, Godfrey, Davies, Richarlison.

Subs: Virginia (GK), Tyrer (GK), Iwobi, Nkounkou, Broadhead, John, Price, Welch.

    Brighton

Hosts Brighton are unchanged from last week's defeat against Manchester United.

Adam Webster, who has been out since 6 February, and Dan Burn, out since 14 March, are back on the bench.

Brighton XI: Sanchez, White, Dunk, Veltman, Gross, Bissouma, Lallana, Trossard, Moder, Welbeck, Maupay.

Subs: Steele (GK), Webster, Mac Allister, Jahanbakhsh, Alzate, Izquierdo, Pröpper, Zeqiri, Burn.

  15. CLOSE!published at 59 mins

    West Brom 2-0 Southampton

Ryan Bertrand takes it instead and it's an inswinger. Nodded away at the back post.

Nathan Redmond is then slipped in on the left a few minutes later after it's given away by West Brom at the back. Darnell Furlong slides in to make an excellent tackle!

    West Brom 2-0 Southampton

Okay Yokuslu is penalised for a bit of a soft one on the edge of the box. Nice chance for James Ward-Prowse - the set-piece specialist. Curler incoming...

  17. Postpublished at 57 mins

    West Brom 2-0 Southampton

Sam Johnstone's goalkick goes straight to Ryan Bertrand. Start Armstrong is immediately on his bike down the left.

Dara O'Shea comes across to put in two decent tackles and Kyle Bartley nods away the resulting corner at the near post.

  18. Postpublished at 54 mins

    West Brom 2-0 Southampton

West Brom boss Sam Allardyce said before the game they needed to not go 'gung-ho' and show 'stability'.

They seem to have dropped off a bit more now and are looking to get chances on the counter-attack. Southampton are also looking after the ball much better.

  19. Postpublished at 53 mins

    West Brom 2-0 Southampton

Stuart Armstrong skips past one player on the edge of the box but there's three more around him so he can't get the shot away.

Ryan Bertrand's cross is eventually hoofed away.

  20. Postpublished at 51 mins

    West Brom 2-0 Southampton

Theo Walcott lifts it in from the right but it won't fall for Danny Ings. Kyle Walker-Peters then fires one across the six-yard area but there's nobody there.

    This is better from Southampton!
