    There's not much change at the bottom either, with defeats for three of the bottom five.

    Coventry are in danger of slipping back into trouble, while Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday suffered set-backs in their survival bids.

    Birmingham can move further away from danger if they can get anything from the visit of Swansea tonight, but the Millers will still have plenty of games in hand on the sides around them.

    Wycombe secured a rare win to close the gap to safety, but still have a long way to go to secure a second campaign in the second tier.

    It's pretty much as you were at the top of the Championship, with just the top two in action this afternoon.

    Norwich now need 13 more points to gain promotion after having to settle for a draw at Preston, while second-placed Watford are on their best winning run since January 2011.

    Bournemouth are into the top six but Reading will return to the play-offs if they avoid defeat in the tea-time kick-off at Barnsley.

    Swansea go to Birmingham at 20:00 BST while Brentford play Huddersfield tomorrow.

    • Cheltenham keep up their title challenge with a 4-0 hammering of Tranmere, who started the day in fourth.
    • None of the six teams chasing the two top win.
    • Forest Green the big losers of the day with a 4-1 humbling at Bradford.
    • Newport also slip up, beaten 2-1 at Barrow.
    • Bottom side Grimsby led from the second minute but were denied two minutes from time in a 1-1 draw at Salford to stay bottom.

    • Hull stay top after coming from behind at Crewe courtesy of a stoppag-time winner from Mallik Wilks.
    • Second-placed Peterborough also had to leave it late to win at Fleetwood as Jonson Clarke-Harris yet again found the back of the net.
    • Sunderland are close behind them in third after coming from behind to beat Oxford United.
    • There are also key wins for play-off contenders Portsmouth, Blackpool, Charlton and Ipswich with just three points separating six sides.
    • Northampton claw themselves three points clear of the bottom four with a win against Shrewsbury.
    • But Swindon's loss at Blackpool and Wimbledon's at Plymouth leave them in trouble. Swindon just a point ahead of fourth-from-botom Wimbledon who have a game in hand.

    Wycombe see out six minutes of stoppage time and manager Gareth Ainsworth has victory against the club he supported as a boy.

    Just a seventh win of the season for Wycombe but Fred Onyedinma has given them some hope with this three points.

    It may, of course, be too little, too late for the Championship's bottom club.
