    Mitch Pinnock

Chris Burke has started the game superbly and is instrumental as Kilmarnock extend their lead.

The veteran winger cuts inside and his curling drive is heading for goal before it skims off the head of Montrose defender Andrew Steeves and it looks like Mitch Pinnock provides the final touch just in front of goal.

Some are giving the goal to Burke, some as an own goal and others for Pinnock. We'll probably not find out the definitive answer until the final whistle!

    Scottish League 2

The league games have just kicked off and there's also a top-of-the-table clash in League 2, with leaders Queen's Park looking for a win to take them to within a point of the title and automatic promotion as they visit second-top Edinburgh City.

Edinburgh are unbeaten in seven league games, but the Spiders have won seven in a row and won eight consecutively in the league since a 3-3 draw at home to today's hosts and have a 12-point lead at the top.

Stirling Albion are three points behind Edinburgh and one ahead of Stranraer and Elgin City as they visit Cowdenbeath.

Elgin host an Albion Rovers side who are unbeaten in four games, three away from home.

Meanwhile, second-bottom Annan Athletic host Brechin City, who are six points behind.

Annan are without win in eight, but the visitors are even worse off, having gone without a victory.

  17. Wright has unhappy memories of Montrosepublished at 11:45 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Kilmarnock v Montrose (11:45)

Kilmarnock manager Tommy Wright tells BBC Sportsound: "Winning the Scottish Cup in my first season at St Johnstone was a massive highlight in my career. We want to try and progress in the competition and keep our unbeaten run going because that is important for us going into the last four games in the league.

"The changes are just to freshen things up and it gives people game time and it certainly doesn't weaken the team.

"I'm expecting a tough game. I lost 1-0 up at Montrose with St Johnstone in the League Cup, so I'm aware of what can happen in cup football - and we just have to look at the games last night, how hard the teams from the lower leagues pushed the Premiership sides."

  18. Top-of-table clash in Aberdeenpublished at 11:44 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Scottish League 1

There's also a massive game in League 1, with leaders Falkirk visiting third-top Cove Rangers.

A win for the Aberdeen side would take them level with the Bairns, who would move four points clear of Partick Thistle if they come out on top.

Cove have only one defeat in six and have won three in a row at home without losing a goal, while Falkirk’s win over Clyde last weekend ended run of three without a win.

Meanwhile, East Fife need to beat visitors Peterhead to go one point above Airdrieonians into fourth.

Peterhead are looking to increase three-point gap with second bottom Clyde but are without a win in three outings.

    Scottish Championship

There's three big games in the Championship that will go some way to deciding promotion and relegation.

Second-top Raith Rovers visit Alloa Athletic, who must end a run of four games without a win to keep alive hopes of avoiding a return to League 1.

The visitors, unbeaten in five league outings, would increase the gap ahead of Dundee to five points with a win and have already scored eight eight goals in two wins over Alloa this season.

Fife rivals Dunfermline Athletic and visitors Queen of the South effectively must win to keep alive their promotion play-off hopes.

A home win would take the Pars, who have had there straight draws and are seven games without a win, are two points behind Caley Thistle, with Queens, who have only won once in six outings, are a point further behind.

Meanwhile, at the bottom, an Arbroath sitting above second-bottom Morton on goal difference, host Ayr United, who are a point ahead.

The home side have only one win in seven outings, while the visitors are without a win in four.
