Liverpool continue to come forward with Trent Alexander-Arnold in the thick of things again, this time laying the ball off for Diogo Jota but he lashes well over from outside the box.

A first Premier League goal since 28 January for Sadio Mane. He's had to wait a long time for that one but the goal drought is over.

Jota came deep, played a lovely drilled pass, it opens up the pitch and Trent Alexander-Arnold is so intelligent. He finds the gap and found Mane who comfortably struck it into the goal. A wonderful goal from Liverpool.

Kalvin Phillips has been sloppy. I know he's playing against an aggressive, pressing team but you can't get caught on the ball in those positions that he has been doing, four or five times. You would have to tell him to sharpen up.

Both teams have been guilty of giving the ball away in poor areas.

Roberto Firmino tries to stroke a ball into the back of the net at the near post but Diego Llorente gets a block in.

First yellow card of the game goes Leeds' way as Stuart Dallas is booked for preventing Diogo Jota from breaking away.

Oooh, Liverpool get away with a horrible moment in defence as Fabinho plays a lazy ball straight to Kalvin Phillips. The midfielder puts Patrick Bamford in but Alisson is off his line quickly to block the shot and the loose ball then rebounds behind off Fabinho.

Superb ball into the box by Jack Harrison, fizzed in low and with pace. It's probably just out of Patrick Bamford's reach but Ozan Kabak doesn't take any chances. Better from Leeds.

Liverpool come forward again as Roberto Firmino gets into the box on the right but his cutback is behind Diogo Jota and Luke Ayling deals with the danger.

Jota thought he had scored. It came from Phillips giving the ball away.

Leeds have not really been able to offer anything going forward, Bamford has not been able to hold the ball up and Leeds haven't got people close to him.

Joey Melv: What are Liverpool playing for? To qualify for a tournament they don't want to be in. Going forward, will these teams just quit/tank every time they can't mathematically win something?

Roberto Firmino has the ball in space on that left-hand side now and he waits for reinforcements. Leeds defenders back off as he edges towards goal so he decides to have a pop but straight at Illan Meslier.

Space in particular is in abundance down the left and that looks the most likely area from which a danger Liverpool attack will come from.

A very good passage of play from Liverpool, they are playing Leeds very well and the rotation has been very good.

We've seen Fabinho move forward and apart from Kabak everyone is playing free. Liverpool are finding space by moving these Leeds defenders around.

Ezgjan Alioski does well to block a shot on the turn by Diogo Jota as Liverpool threaten again. Really nice turn by Jota.

Kalvin Phillips is fouled 30 yards from goal and Leeds have a free kick in a good position. The ball is played in by Jack Harrison and Patrick Bamford sweeps a first-time effort wide, but he was offside anyway.
