Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel says his side were "amazing" in the first half during their "well deserved" win over West Ham.

West Ham manager David Moyes says his team are still hopeful they can secure "some form" of European football, despite losing 1-0 at home to Chelsea.

The whistle goes for half time and it is advantage Sheffield United thanks to David McGoldrick's clinical finish.

A scare for Sheffield United as Leandro Trossard plays in Jakub Moder inside the box. Moder's footwork gets him past one Sheffield United player but then his shot deflects off another and behind.

Yves Bissouma, always capable of a beauty from distance, works a bit of space for himself 25 yards from goal and has a pop but this isn't one of his better efforts as the ball flies high and wide.

Nice footwork from Yves Bissouma earns Brighton a corner as the Sheffield United defence takes no chances. Pascal Gross' first delivery is put behind for another corner before his second is cleared.

Rhian Brewster does well on the left to get down to the byline and thumps a first-time ball into the middle of the box but Brighton clear.

Kevin Friend has a think about blowing for a free kick on the edge of the Sheffield United area but in the end says no.

Brighton haven't had an attempt on goal since that Neal Maupay effort that was well saved by Aaron Ramsdale early on.

Neal Maupay is caught midway inside the Sheffield United half and Brighton have another free kick. Jakub Moder sends the ball into the box but again the Blades deal with the set piece comfortably.

There's a bit of confidence about Sheffield United's play, as though they are released from the significant burden of a relegation fight.

They are playing some decent stuff at the moment which, if they keep the squad together, could point to good signs for a promotion charge next season.

Brighton embark on a nice, sweeping attack as the ball is worked forward through Adam Lallana and Pascal Gross. However, Gross' low ball into the box is read well by Ollie Norwood, who cuts the pass out and brings the ball out of danger.

David McGoldrick has a yellow card to go with his goal as he is booked for a foul.

Sheffield United are very much in the ascendancy after taking the lead and win a corner but Brighton deal with it.
