I'm going out on a limb. It will open up in the second half. Five goals to come.

    As a Spurs fan, I'm hoping for a 0-0......or a 5-5 thriller!

    West Ham 0-0 Chelsea

For all of Chelsea's possession and territory, West Ham are doing a decent job of limiting them to low percentage chances.

Werner's shot from range deflects wide and from the resulting corner, a combination of Hammers players gets the ball away.

    West Ham 0-0 Chelsea

West Ham could do with getting a foot on the ball and getting a bit of possession. They're gifting it back to the away side too often with somewhat aimless clearances and forward balls that aren't sticking.

Chelsea respond as Werner sets up Pulisic for a first-time, side-foot effort straight at Fabianski from inside the box.

West Ham's first pop at goal. It is set up by a fine move that sees the all worked out from the back and fed to Ryan Fredericks on the left. He is allowed to run into the box before firing an angled shot wide.

I don't know, Marcus. I don't think that's the solution. Just spending more money to replace the man you spent 50-odd million quid on. That kind of thinking hasn't got football into a cracking place.

Marcus: Werner is wildly over-rated. Tuchel needs a top-quality forward for next season. Maybe Aguero is the answer?

Mason Mount pulls out a little Cruyff turn in the box to get away from Soucek in the box before firing in a low shot that is saved by Fabianski.

He's the glue in this Chelsea side is Mount. Hardly ever misses a game.

West Ham haven't been able to get a foothold in this yet. They have their first real charge forward but Jesse Lingard is caught offside.

Please, everyone. Unless this is some kind of reverse psychology, can we all stop saying it's going to be 0-0.

Eden: Everyone saying Tuchel has bought in defensive stability, but in reality he plays 7 at the back and is always negative.

George Withey: Got 0-0 written all over it.

Chelsea continue to press forward. A nice move down the right sets up a cross that Angelo Ogbonna dives in to head away.

Always feels like the game is happening miles away at the London Stadium, even when you're only watching on TV (I guess it is happening miles away. Idiot. You get what I mean, right?).

First sniff for Timo Werner as he is picked out near the penalty spot for a first-time finish he hooks over the bar.

He's gonna score goals for Chelsea eventually. You don't become a bad player overnight.

Ayush Goel: I still can't understand the reason for Tuchel not starting Tammy. It's an area we're struggling with and he still continues with Werner.

  18. Prove your worthpublished at 17:27 British Summer Time 24 April 2021

West Ham v Chelsea (17:30 BST)

The Blues haven't been quite as prolific in front of goal, though. In fact, the only player to score more than three competitive goals for Chelsea under Tuchel is Mason Mount, with five.

As Lingard has done at West Ham, there are a few Chelsea players who could do with proving their worth.

Kai Havertz and Timo Werner were both brought to the club for big fees and while the former is now starting to show some form, the latter remains woefully short of it.

For a player who scored 35 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions last season, 14 in 52 this campaign is a big disappointing dip.

  19. Tuchel eyes away recordpublished at 17:26 British Summer Time 24 April 2021

West Ham v Chelsea (17:30 BST)

It is fair to say that Chelsea have become a tough nut to crack since Tuchel succeeded Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge.

They have kept a clean sheet in 15 of their 20 matches in all competitions under Tuchel.

The German could become the first Chelsea manager to go unbeaten in his first 10 competitive away games in charge (W7, D2).

Is there a player who has proved a bigger point to his detractors this season than Jesse Lingard?

The forward has been a revelation at the Hammers since joining on loan from Manchester United in January.

He could equal Diafra Sakho's West Ham record of scoring in six successive Premier League appearances. Sakho did so in September and October 2014.

In total, Lingard has been involved in 12 Premier League goals in his first 10 appearances for West Ham, scoring nine and setting up three.
