    League One update

League leaders Hull have pulled a goal back against Fleetwood, with Josh Magennis getting the equaliser for his 15th goal of the season.

The hosts are one point ahead of fellow promotion rivals Peterborough at the top of the table as it stands.

And Rochdale have regained their lead after Jake Beesley's goal gives them a 2-1 lead at home against Accrington.

That could be a huge moment in Dale's fight for survival.

  4. goal

GOAL: Nottm Forest 0-2 Huddersfieldpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Juninho Bacuna (61 mins)

Comprehensive finish from Huddersfield's Juninho Bacuna, who drifts into the Forest half with conviction and despite being swamped by defenders, arrows a fierce shot over Brice Samba and into the back of the net.

Forest have just fallen off in this one, and the Terriers get a princely pair of goals to leave their Championship future looking a little rosier.

    Luton 0-0 Watford

Watford's result won't affect Norwich's possible promotion this afternoon but the chance to gain a bit of ground and take a step closer to their own top-two place is passing them by at present.

It is still locked in stalemate at Kenilworth Road. Isaac Success has taken a place up top with Joao Pedro just off the shoulder behind.

  6. CLOSE!published at 13:55 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Stoke 0-0 Preston

Preston's best chance of the afternoon so far has just come from Ched Evans.

Tom Barkhuizen delivered a fantastic cross in from the right, Evans connected with the ball but headed just over the bar.

    Still goalless.

  7. RED CARD (Dieng)published at 13:53 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Middlesbrough 1-2 QPR

Lyndon Dykes almost just made it 3-1 to QPR, but now the visitors are down to 10 men.

Goalkeeper Seny Dieng gets his marching orders for cleaning out Duncan Watmore.

He can have no complaints as he rushes out from his goal to lunge at Watmore and take out the forward almost 30 yards from his goal.

Joe Lumley will come on for the visitors.

    Swansea 0-2 Wycombe

As things stand, Wycombe will be seven points from safety with four games of the campaign remaining.

It would still be a tough ask for Gareth Ainsworth's men, but where there's a chance, there's hope.

With Brentford drawing 0-0, Norwich are heading back up to the Premiers League.

Forest were undone at the back end of the half after a sloppy back-pass was picked off by Aaron Rowe, but the second-half has not prompted a reply.

  12. 'Swansea will do well to get anything'published at 13:47 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Swansea 0-2 Wycombe

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

Swansea are still in the hunt for automatic promotion while Wycombe are in serious relegation danger, but you would not have known it on the evidence of this game.

Wycombe gave as good as they got in the first period, outmuscling Swansea at times and not allowing them to keep possession.

And now they have the seized control of the contest courtesy of a sharp Admiral Muskwe finish and a low Garath McCleary shot into the bottom corner.

Swansea, who lost Andre Ayew to injury early on, will do well to get anything from this game now.

GOAL: Swansea 0-2 Wycombepublished at 13:45 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Garath McCleary (51 mins)

What a start to the second half for rock-bottom Wycombe.

Garath McCleary doubles their lead with a fine solo effort.

He picks up the ball on the left-hand side of the box, cuts into the area and then unleashes a low shot through a crowd of bodies into the Swans net.

A massive blow to Swansea's automatic promotion hopes, unless the Welsh side can mount a comeback.

    Luton 0-0 Watford

Watford clearly think the route to success... is Success. Isaac that is.

He's on for the off-key Philip Zinckernagel.

Luton were excellent in the first-half but good chances and plaudits are no replacement for goals. They need one to cement their control.

    Brentford 0-0 Millwall

A big chance for Brentford to take the lead goes begging.

Marcus Forss works his way into the Millwall area before blasting his angled shot into the side-netting.

The Finn really should have tested the keeper there.

Brilliant start to the second half for Wycombe.

Admiral Muskwe latches on to a flick-on from Uche Ikpeazku and powers a shot into the Swans net from 20 yards out.

Is the great escape back on for the Chairboys?

Norwich may be getting the champagne on ice.
