  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:25 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Huddersfield

Aaron Rowe's goal is the difference on a sunny day at the City Ground, capitalising on an error from Forest's James Garner to give Huddersfield the lead.

The home side began the brighter, but Town finished the stronger. The goal was a gift.

Could be a precious one for Huddersfield in their battle against the drop.

  5. Wycombe look like 'going down fighting'published at 13:25 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    HT: Swansea 0-0 Wycombe

    Squad Goals

If Wycombe are going down, they're going down fighting after just two defeats in their last five.

Swansea are looking to cement their place in the play-offs - or even try and push up and really get behind Watford in that second place - but nothing is really happening.

I'm really expecting some goals in the game.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:25 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Luton 0-0 Watford

Really impressive performance from Luton, who have belied their midtable status against high-flying Watford to dominate the derby.

Should perhaps have a goal to show for their control of the game, but still plenty for Nathan Jones to be chuffed with.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:25 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Middlesbrough 1-2 QPR

QPR hang on to lead on Teesside at the break.

But R's keeper Seny Dieng made two good saves from Duncan Watmore in first-half injury time.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:24 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Bristol City

    What a first-half, a goal, a missed penalty and a red card.

Darren Moore, at home with pneumonia, will be delighted with Wednesday's efforts though.

The opener scored by Julian Borner, and despite a penalty miss from the influential Barry Bannan, the Owls have controlled the game.

City down to 10 as Henri Lansbury was sent-off for handball.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:23 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Swansea 0-0 Wycombe

Promotion-chasing Swansea are being held by rock-bottom Wycombe.

Jay Fulton sent a header wide for the Swans just before the break.

    League One update

Play-off contenders Portsmouth have gone a goal down to MK Dons, after a penalty from Scott Fraser.

  11. goal

GOAL: Nottm Forest 0-1 Huddersfieldpublished at 13:20 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Aaron Rowe (45+1 mins)

Huddersfield take the lead and it was giftwrapped with a bow on top for them by Nottingham Forest midfielder James Garner.

Garner's errant pass in midfield went behind the Forest defence and Aaron Rowe was quickly on his bike, collected the ball, drew Brice Samba and slipped into the corner.

It's a goal that they have deserved with their efforts at the back end of the half, and could be key to securing safety.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:20 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Brentford 0-0 Millwall

All square at the break at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Scott Malone has gone close twice for the visitors, while the Bees are barely threatened the Millwall goal.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:20 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Stoke 0-0 Preston

A lacklustre first half at the bet365 Stadium, with neither side yet to open the scoring.

  14. Postpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Stoke 0-0 Preston

19-year-old Christian Norton, who is making his full debut for Stoke, produces a cross which comes off Ryan Ledson who almost turns it into his own net, but Daniel Iversen is there to save the mishap.

  15. Postpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Huddersfield

Duane Holmes, a former Derby player, almost gives Huddersfield the lead at Forest but Brice Samba again stretches to keep the scores level.

Carlos Corberan has been forced into a change for the visitors, as he replaces top scorer Fraizer Campbell with Danny Ward.

  16. Postpublished at 13:15 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Luton 0-0 Watford

Another belting effort from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall brings Luton ever closer to an opener against their big rivals.

The Watford goal continues to feel the brunt of Luton's pressure, but KDH - as I'm calling him to save time - can only watch his curling effort miss the top corner by inches.

    Middlesbrough 1-2 QPR

Middlesbrough almost catch QPR on the counter-attack and grab a second goal, but R's keeper Seny Dieng denies Yannick Bolasie.

    League One update

Just six goals so far in the first half across the games in League One.

Lincoln, Fleetwood and Doncaster are all leading 1-0 away from home, Wigan are winning 1-0 at home to Crewe, and Rochdale are drawing 1-1 with Accrington.

  19. Postpublished at 13:12 British Summer Time 17 April 2021

    Nottm Forest 0-0 Huddersfield

Aaron Rowe comes closest to beating Brice Samba on his near-post, but the Congolese keeper keeps Forest level.

Huddersfield have imposed themselves on this game more as the half has gone on.

    Brentford 0-0 Millwall

Brentford v MillwallImage source, Rex Features

Brentford scored five goals last weekend but look out of sorts so far this afternoon.

The Bees really need to win to keep their hopes of automatic promotion alive.

Vitaly Janelt has volleyed over for the hosts, but Millwall have created the better chances of the game.
