It looks like it could be too little too late for Reading

Neat finishes from Nahki Wells and Adam Nagy have Bristol City comfortably ahead at the interval.

In the closing stages of the half Jordan Clark come close to pulling one back for Luton but his header was tipped away from home keeper Daniel Bentley.

Jamal Lowe is inches away from putting the game to bed for Swansea as his firm strike smacks into the post.

With time running out for Reading, however, it's unlikely that miss will have a big bearing on the result.

It's just not happening for Reading at the moment.

The ball bounces on the edge of the Swansea box for Michael Olise, but he miscues his shot and it floats wide and over the bar.

Midfielder Korey Smith replaces Conor Hourihane for Swansea, who are looking to close this game out now.

Luton playmaker Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is down after taking a ball straight in the face from just a few yards away.

A painful one.

It's all or nothing for the home side now.

After a flurry of corners and pushing forward in search of a second goal, Reading leave themselves vulnerable to the counter-attack.

Jamal Lowe gets into the Royals' box and puts in a cross, which just evades Andre Ayew and dribbles wide.

Reading are playing with a quicker tempo as they look to regain the lead, and Ovie Ejaria has a shot blocked by Swansea substitute Connor Roberts.

Michael Olise then crosses with a free-kick on Reading's right, which Andre Ayew heads away for a corner.

Olise whips in the corner from the side but again it's Ayew who heads clear.

Reading haven't offered too much since Swansea City equalised, the goal seems to have rocked them, knocked them out of their stride.

Swansea have another shot on goal as Jamal Lowe hits a low effort from the edge of the penalty area into Rafael's arms.

As things stand, the Swans will secure the final Championship play-off spot with two games to spare.

Reading have 16 minutes - and stoppage time - to find a winner and keep alive their slim hopes of finishing the season inside the top six.

Moments after almost scoring, Jay Fulton is booked for bringing down Reading's Ovie Ejaria as he bears down on the Swansea penalty area.

Michael Olise's free-kick hits the wall and goes out for a corner and, from that set-piece, Fulton almost gets himself in hot water again.

He seems to bring Alfa Semedo down at the back post but referee Simon Hooper dismisses the Reading penalty appeals.

That's a brave stop from Luton keeper Simon Sluga to stop Nahki Wells from scoring the opener.

Bristol City forward Wells races onto a lofted ball from Steven Sessegnon and his strike is blocked by the face of Sluga.

At the other end Jordan Clark controls, turns and shoots just wide of the far post for the visitors.
