I was praying that ended in a goal as that is ridiculous from Andre Ayew! That is a huge goal for the Swans.

    Jamal Lowe

What an impact from Swansea's top scorer Andre Ayew!

Moments after coming on, the substitute holds the ball up on Swansea's right and nutmegs Liam Moore with an outrageous drag-back.

Jay Fulton then strides into the Reading penalty area and fires a low shot, which Rafael saves.

But the keeper can only palm the ball into the path of Jamal Lowe, who scores on the rebound.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 65 mins

    Reading 1-0 Swansea

Andy Rinomhota volleys wide for Reading, and now attention turns to the benches.

It's a triple substitution for Swansea.

On come forwards Andre Ayew and Morgan Whittaker as well as Wales right-back Connor Roberts.

Off go Liam Cullen, Wayne Routledge and Kyle Naughton.

Reading are also making two changes.

Midfielder Michael Olise replaces John Swift and Alfa Semedo is on for goalscorer Yakou Meite.

  4. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Bristol City 0-0 Luton

Nahki Wells tries his luck from 20 yards but drags his effort wide.

Bristol City are looking decent up until the final third, but are lacking a focal point in attack with Famara Diedhiou out injured.

  5. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Reading 1-0 Swansea

Swansea's top scorer Andre Ayew looks like he's getting ready to come on.

A 16th Championship goal of the season from the Ghana international would be quite handy for the Swans at this point.

  6. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Reading 1-0 Swansea

Swansea continue to ask questions of the Reading defence.

The Swans take a short corner and cross the ball back into the box, where defender Marc Guehi has stayed up.

He plays a low ball across the Reading six-yard box towards Liam Cullen, but the home side intervene to clear.

  7. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Bristol City 0-0 Luton

On his full Bristol City debut, 18-year-old striker Tommy Conway is certainly trying to be positive.

He's running at Luton defenders and wins a corner, which the visitors manage to clear.

You can tell Nigel Pearson's side are lacking a bit of confidence in the final third, though.

  8. Postpublished at 53 mins

    Reading 1-0 Swansea

Reading are playing with fire, and Josh Laurent almost gets caught out as he tries to pass his way out of defence.

Under pressure from Jay Fulton, Laurent loses possession and almost presents Liam Cullen with a chance inside the Reading penalty area but Royals keeper Rafael is there to smother the ball.

  9. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 7 mins

    Bristol City 0-0 Luton

A dead-rubber game in the Sunday sun - with no fans in attendance - could have the feel of a pre-season friendly.

But Luton have started with a spring in their step.

Elijah Adebayo sees a powerful shot deflected over for a corner and the ball then ends up in the Bristol City net - but it won't stand as there's a foul on keeper Daniel Bentley.

  10. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Reading 1-0 Swansea

Yakou Meite almost gets on the end of a Reading free-kick but then Swansea break.

Jamal Lowe tries to wriggle his way into the Royals' box but his cross is blocked by Andy Rinomhota.

  11. 'Difficult header for Cullen'published at 49 mins

    Reading 1-0 Swansea

    Danny Gabbidon
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio Wales

It wasn't the easiest of chances. The cut-back was fired back from Jamal Lowe and it was a difficult header for Liam Cullen.

  12. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Reading 1-0 Swansea

    Close!

Cullen threatens again. This time, Jamal Lowe delivers an inviting cross from the left wing and Cullen heads narrowly wide.

Good start to the second half from Swansea.

  13. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Reading 1-0 Swansea

Liam Cullen, one of Swansea's bright sparks in the first half, runs at the Reading defence and shoots just inside the penalty area but it goes well over the bar.

Cullen scored in last season's dramatic finale at the Madejski Stadium, so he's got history when it comes to Swansea, Reading and the play-offs.

As it is half-time at the Madejski Stadium, let's turn our attention to Bristol.

The Championship is such an exciting league that - even at this late stage of the season - there's normally something riding on every game.

However both Bristol City and Luton know they will be in the division next season, and are able to play with freedom.

Nigel Pearson's Robins haven't won in seven matches and have slipped to 18th. They've scored just one goal in their past eight league games at Ashton Gate.

Meanwhile, Luton start the afternoon five places and six points higher in the table and could secure a top-half finish if they continue their good form.

  19. HALF-TIME - Reading 1-0 Swanseapublished at 12:47 British Summer Time 25 April 2021

Liam Moore heads a Reading corner towards goal but it's blocked by Jamal Lowe.

That is the last bit of meaningful action of the first half.

Reading still face an uphill battle trying to pinch that final play-off place from Swansea but, as things stand, the Royals are giving themselves a chance.

    Reading 1-0 Swansea

Yakou Meite yelps as he's tackled inside the Swansea penalty area, but Ben Cabango wins the ball with his sliding challenge. No penalty.

That was quite the high-pitched scream from Meite.
