Allan Fiddes: What a rubbish penalty. Not in the corner, perfect height for the keeper.

T-Dogg: Wait, do Sunderland really have a player named Max Power?!

Yes, yes they do. Formerly of Tranmere and Wigan.

Jorge Grant's penalty is saved by Lee Burge!

It was a firmly struck effort from Grant but it was at a good height for Burge, who guessed right and kept it out brilliantly.

You've got to give Lincoln boss Michael Appleton a heap of credit here.

He saw what was happening in the first half, made two changes at the break and tweaked a couple of positions and his side have been superb this half.

With 30 minutes to go the Imps are back in the driving seat.

    It had been coming!

Tom Hopper is ALL ALONE in the middle of the six-yard box to head home a corner.

Where were the Sunderland markers? Lincoln won't care.

    Sunderland 2-0 Lincoln (2-2 agg)

This has been much more like the Lincoln we've seen in the regular season, and indeed in Wednesday's first leg.

They have some talented players who we just didn't see at all in the first half but they're getting into it now.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 51 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Lincoln (2-2 agg)

Lincoln forward Brennan Johnson wants a penalty. He's not getting one for that though.

He takes it around Callum McFadzean, who does go to ground, and tumbles to the turf but there was no contact.

The referee books him for his protestations.

Lincoln put together a few passes though midfield and work their way up the pitch.

I suppose their one hope is that they're a much younger side than Sunderland so their energy levels could be better as the game wears on.

Lincoln win an early corner that causes some panic in the home defence but they clear eventually.

Better from the Imps who barely had a sniff of anything in that first half.

  20. Woodgate rues penalty decisionpublished at 16:28 British Summer Time 22 May 2021

FT: Brentford 3-1 Bournemouth (3-2 agg)

    Jonathan WoodgateImage source, Rex Features

Bournemouth manager Jonathan Woodgate was not happy with the performance of the referee as his side were beaten 3-2 on aggregate by Brentford in their Championship play-off semi-final tie.

The Cherries led 2-0 on aggregate when Jarred Gillett awarded a penalty for a handball against defender Lloyd Kelly.

"Losing is the worst feeling in the world. It is difficult to talk after a defeat of that magnitude," Woodgate told BBC Radio Solent.

"The decision the referee gives early on with the penalty, it is an incredible decision. It comes off Lloyd's leg and hits his arm.

"I couldn't understand some of the decisions the referee was making. The crowd and their manager were getting in his head.

"We had a man sent off and that was a game-changer. It was difficult because Brentford have got good players and they kept on knocking at the door."
