There's a mad scramble in the Bournemouth box, and the Bees think they should have another penalty.

Cameron Carter-Vickers muscles Bryan Mbeumo off the ball, Ivan Toney sees an effort smothered by Asmir Begovic and then Marcus Forss is blocked trying to get on the end of the rebound.

Mbeumo shoots wide, but the whistle had already gone for a Bournemouth free-kick.

There is the goal the Bees wanted!

A cross is only half-cleared by Ben Pearson and Vitaly Janelt races on to the ball and fires off a shot from the edge of the area.

The ball curls past a despairing Asmir Begovic.

Brentford are level on aggregate, and now have 40 minutes against 10 men to find a winner and book their place at Wembley.

The Bees start the half on the attack, as Emiliano Marcondes has a curling effort blocked and then Ivan Toney mis-hits a volley which goes out for a throw-in.

Bournemouth are going to have to stand firm in defence. Lloyd Kelly has done well after slotting in at centre-back following the red card for Chris Mepham.

Brentford have made a change at the break, with striker Marcus Forss coming on for wing-back Mads Roerslev.

You get the feeling that there could be another red card, too.

Arsenal MM: I underestimated how important Josh Dasilva is for Brentford. Gets the attack flowing so well, shame he’s injured, would have had a big impact.

England Under-21 midfielder Dasilva has been out side February. And the Bees have had to cope without full-backs Henrik Dalsgaard and Rico Henry for large chunks of the season too...

Handsome Nick: This game is fantastic entertainment. As a neutral, I'm just loving watching this. I feel that the winner of this game will be in the Premier League next season, since I can't see Swansea or Barnsley beating them at Wembley.

Nick Bruzon: A first half that had just about everything. Brentford dominant. Bournemouth petulant and on the verge of a full on meltdown. Second half is going to be huge.

As crazy a first 45 minute as you could wish to see.

Poor defending, a controversial penalty and a red card.

The play-offs are delivering once again for the neutral. Supporters of both clubs must be hating every minute.

Brentford 2-1 trail on aggregate, but Bournemouth are down to 10 men.
