It's worth mentioning that from the free-kick which resulted from Chris Mepham's red card, the Bees did have a half-chance.

Chris Mepham mis-controls a ball 30 yards out and Bryan Mbeumo nips in to get a toe on the ball.

The French forward is in on goal and Mepham stumbles and taps the heels of Mbeumo with his outstretched hand.

England rugby captain Owen Farrell would be proud of that ankle-tap.

Referee Jarred Gillett has no hesitations as he reaches for a red card. Mepham can't complain.
