Youri Tielemans plays the corner short along the edge of the box to James Maddison. He can't quite hit it first time so lays it off to Timothy Castagne. His cross is headed away comfortably.

That didn't really come off.

Usually when you get a player sent off you sit a little deeper but Southampton are not.

Decent effort from Nathan Redmond. He cuts inside off the left and fizzes one towards goal.

Kasper Schmeichel palms it away to his right.

That was a nice run from Kyle Walker-Peters in the build-up.

Nathan Redmond gives it away to Kelechi Iheanacho but his flick-on doesn't quite fall for Jamie Vardy on the edge of the box.

So on comes Mohammed Salisu for Southampton. Nathan Tella, who missed a decent chance earlier, is the one to go off.

Barely broken a sweat.

James Maddison tries to guide it around the corner of the wall and inside the right post.

Vardy is really struggling. It was really nasty onto his ankle.

That really did come out of nowhere. Jamie Vardy is limping but he's on his feet.

Leicester still have a free-kick in a very good position to take here too. This could go from bad to worse for Southampton...

It is a sloppy touch from Vestegaard. Jamie Vardy is always going to pounce. Vestergaard is late and rash. It was nasty. He got a nick on the ball but it was a nasty tackle onto Vardy's ankle. He has been sent off and rightly so.

Wow.

Jannik Vestergaard is off. He brings down Jamie Vardy right on the edge of the box.

His touch was heavy and he slid in to stop Vardy getting there. The referee believes he's followed through with high studs and caught Vardy dangerously.

Massive chance. That is because of the pressing. Southampton look really fresh. Nathan Tella should be scoring that.

What a chance this is! Caglar Soyuncu can't bring it under control on the edge of the box, Che Adams nips in and tees up Nathan Tella but he drags the shot and it rolls slowly into Kasper Schmeichel's arms.

Nathan Redmond links up with Che Adams on the left but Luke Thomas is in sharply to sniff out the cut-back.

Walker-Peters pushed up really high. I think he was a yard or two off. Leicester held their line really well.

Youri Tielemans' heavy touch gives possession back to Southampton in the middle.

Jonny Evans then battles to win a free-kick near the touchline.

Kyle Walker-Peters goes too early but what a ball from Jannik Vestergaard!

He pings it over the top for Walker-Peters to chase and he's through. He thumps it into the net but he's offside and it won't count.
