The season has caught up with Southampton with the way they play. They haven't got the squad and when they get the injuries it matters more to them. Ralph Hasenhuttl wants them to play that way and it is unsustainable.

I think it is evident heavy defeats don't leave you. Southampton's season capitulated after they lost 9-0 at Manchester United. When this fixture comes around it is time to turn your phone off as a Southampton player.

Kelechi Iheanacho's form has actually been staggering. What a pairing Leicester have got up front at the moment!

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers speaking to Sky Sports: "The game tonight is an important game. We will do everything we can to catch them."

What has changed this season? "It's development. The players have been amazing in their approach since the very first game of the season. The players have matured and improved. Collectively they have been very strong. It's all about concentration levels. We will look to get that focus and concentration in the game tonight."

On Kelechi Iheanacho's improvement: "It's confidence. He's always been a talent. It was always difficult for him but when he has been given the opportunityi he has always taken them. He knows he needs to continue with it."

Ayoze Perez has scored seven top-flight goals against Southampton, more than against any other side.

Kelechi Iheanacho has scored 14 goals in his last 14 appearances. He could become the first Leicester player other than Jamie Vardy to score in four consecutive Premier League matches.

All five of Vardy's Premier League goals against Southampton were scored at St. Mary's Stadium.

Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl to Sky Sports: "The guys know that we have played better football but it's now to try to find this quality back. We have shown it in short moments in games but not always enough to win games."

On the FA Cup meeting between the sides: "We were both a little bit nervous. Today maybe we see a little more quality on the ball and maybe better decision-making on our side in the right zones to score against them.

"I think we need more than one good result to make this season a good one still. We have six games left and we want to definitely have a better average than the last weeks."

Leicester won the reverse fixture 2-0 and could complete a league double against Southampton for the first time since 2000.

The Foxes have earned three successive Premier League victories at St. Mary's, including last season's top-flight record 9-0 away win.

This is a re-run of the FA Cup semi-final from a couple of weeks ago and I think we will see the same outcome at St Mary's Stadium as we did at Wembley - a Leicester victory.

Back-to-back Leicester wins in the league have given them a bit of breathing space ahead of the teams chasing them, and another victory here would be massive if the sides outside the top four keep dropping points.

Kelechi Iheanacho's purple patch in front of goal has come at exactly the right time for the Foxes and they have got the firepower to win here as well.

Prediction: 0-2

It's been a bit of a downward slide in form for Southampton since the start of the season.

They have taken just 10 points from 16 league matches in 2021, five points fewer than any other side.

They have also dropped an unrivalled 21 points from winning positions.

Their last victory came against Burnley on 4 April. Leicester knocked them out of the FA Cup semi-finals a few weeks back too.

Is tonight the night Southampton bounce back?

Kelechi Iheanacho had to wait until 3 February for his first league goal of the season. Since then the Leicester City striker is the Premier League's top goalscorer.

The Nigerian assisted the equaliser and scored the winner as the Foxes beat Crystal Palace 2-1 to gain a seven-point cushion in the race for a Champions League place.

A far cry from a striker who had to wait 14 months for a Premier League goal from September 2018 to December 2019.

He is the Foxes' top scorer this season with 17 goals, the first time since 2014-15 that Jamie Vardy has been in danger of not leading the way.

The last few games have gone really well for Leicester. At times they haven't played particularly well but have found a way to get results. That's what you need to do at the business end of the season.

A young personal trainer who faced deportation as a child but now helps famous footballers says "opportunities are out there" for people from hard backgrounds.

Sev Mokake, 24, and his family were almost sent back to Tanzania due to visa issues when he was aged 11, but they won the right to remain in the UK.

Since then, Mr Mokake, who lives in Norwich, has set up a business and worked with clients including James Maddison, Ayoze Perez and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Theo Walcott has scored five goals in 10 Premier League appearances against Leicester.

He's on the bench for Southampton today.

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Tottenham interim boss Ryan Mason have given their views on the social media boycott.

With five games still to play, Leicester have equalled their total of 62 points from the previous season.

They could equal the club top-flight record of 11 away wins in a season, set in their title-winning campaign in 2015-16.

Only two of their nine league defeats this season have come away from home.

Away fans could be allowed back at Premier League matches for the final two rounds of the season, following a change in stance from the government.

Only home fans have been permitted to attend top-flight games since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Up to 500 away fans could be allowed to watch games in May's final two matches.

The Premier League has also moved round 37 fixtures back to midweek, 18-19 May, so each club has one home game with fans before the end of the season.
