    Southampton will be mathematically safe with a win tonight but realistically, it would take a miracle for West Brom or Fulham to overtake them.

    So the pressure is on Liverpool to win if they have any hope of securing a Champions League spot.

    Leciester's slip up last night means Liverpool are nine points behind them. Chelsea's late winner against Man City will have been a blow though.

    A win will take Liverpool to within nine points of fourth with four games remaining.

    Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp makes two changes to the side that drew 1-1 at home to Newcastle.

    Nathaniel Phillips and Rhys Williams replace Ozan Kabak and Roberto Firmino. Ben Woodburn is on the bench.

    Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, R. Williams, Phillips, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Thiago, Jota, Mane, Salah.

    Subs: Firmino, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Tsimikas, Shaqiri, Woodburn, N. Williams, Koumetio, Adrian.

    There's also two changes to the Southampton side who drew 1-1 at home to Leicester.

    Fraser Forster replaces Alex McCarthy in goal, while Theo Walcott comes in for Liverpool loanee Takumi Minamino, who cannot face his parent club.

    Jannik Vestergaard keeps his place in defence after his red card against Leicester was overturned.

    Tottenham and Leicester have dropped points this weekend but Chelsea's late winner against Manchester City means Liverpool still have a lot of work to do to secure a top-four spot.

    A win is needed but Southampton, who have been on a poor run of form, will be at Anfield hoping to cause an upset.
