Terrific counter attacking football, what they've been good at in recent weeks. Jesse Lingard has not had the best of nights, but when it was important he played with great composure to find Michail Antonio.

He knows where the goal is and aimed it across Sam Johnstone to secure the three points

  16. 'We deserve chance to be there on final day'published at 22:00 British Summer Time 19 May 2021

    FT: Crystal Palace 1-3 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to BBC Sport: "We found a way to win. For a big part of the game we were in total control and playing the way we wanted to play.

"Once we conceded we lost control and started to give balls away and started to panic. We allowed them to play long balls, corners, free-kicks and against Palace that's a dangerous game. We were in trouble.

"We improved with our chances and Gabby managed to score a very important goal.

"You always have hope. We took risks with our set-up.

"We will keep fighting right up to the last day, if someone said in November or December [they could qualify for Europe] it looked impossible but we've been on a strong run these past six months and we deserve a chance to be there on the final day."

On Roy Hodgson: "Very emotional. I thought it was great to have fans on his day because he deserves what happened before and right now [fans' noise while the interview was happening]. An incredible achivement. He's someone to try to emulate because what he's done in football is remarkable."

It's a terrific delivery from Aaron Cresswell. It had real dip. Angelo Ogbonna heads it down and he met it with such intensity it was always going to end in the back of the goal. Huge goal for West Ham.
