    Sheff Utd 0-0 Burnley

Of all the clubs in the Premier League, Sheffield United will argue they have missed their supporters most. The Blades are playing in front of the Greasy Chip Butty Army for the first time since March 2020.

And the 8,000 or so fans in attendance have already made their presence known with a boisterous minute's applause for former captain Len Badger, who died at the age of 75 this week.

Little to report on the pitch at Bramall Lane, other than a tip-over from Blades keeper Aaron Ramsdale to deny Burnley's Dwight McNeil.

Anthony Elanga has missed a good couple of early opportunities but makes no mistake with this one as he grabs his first Premier League goal for the club.

Dan James does well to stay onside and get away down the left before delivery a perfect cross that Elanga powers home.

That's going to be a fabulous battle today - Thiago Silva's experience and knowledge against one of the outstanding young players of the season in Ollie Watkins, a great tussle and battle there, I'm sure Watkins will try and stretch and test Silva. I think he's got his work cut out today.

In terms of the actual game, that is getting lively too. Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin just brought a low save from Ederson after breaking into the box and, at the other end, Jordan Pickford denied Gabriel Jesus.
