  2. 'Environment is most important at Leicester'published at 15:43 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Leicester v Tottenham (16:00 BST)

    Andy Reid
Ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

We don't hear many noises of players desperate to get out of Leicester if they don't qualify for the Champions League. In any football club, the environment is the most important thing - the facilities and the team spirit and atmosphere created around the training ground between the staff, the players and the manager - Leicester have that.

If you enjoy going into work every day you're going to get better because you want to. Brendan Rodgers is probably the best in the business at improving young players and getting them to kick on.

The only issue they may have is that some of their squad are getting on, Jonny Evans, Jamie Vardy, Wes Morgan has retired - there could be big holes with those players when they step out, that need to be filled.

This is as hard a game that Chelsea can face, Dean Smith will have his Aston Villa side fired up.

Even though it is still six days away, Chelsea will still be thinking about the Champions League final.

N'Golo Kante could be missing and they will not want to risk too many players, this might be one of the games where if Chelsea slip up and Leicester can take full advantage.

That will be a hell of a game against Tottenham.

    Phil McNulty

Roy Hodgson has just walked along the touchline at Anfield to a sound that will have sounded very strange - applause from Liverpool supporters.

It was barely seven or eight games into his short and unhappy reign at Liverpool that he heard loud chants for the return of Sir Kenny Dalglish, who was overlooked when Hodgson was appointed, as manager.

Hodgson, being a gentleman and set for his final game at Crystal Palace, set that treatment to one side and returned the applause.
