  1. Champions League qualification 'crucial'published at 14:08 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

Liverpool v Crystal Palace (16:00 BST)

    Charlie Adam
Former Liverpool midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's done, Liverpool won't lose to Crystal Palace today. They won't draw either, there is too much at stake for Liverpool.

To turn it around from where they were seven, eight weeks ago is phenomenal, this could be as crucial as winning the Champions League for Liverpool, especially with the pandemic.

Getting back into the Champions League is big.

  2. 'I fancy Villa against Chelsea'published at 14:06 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

Aston Villa v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

    Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is Villa's last game at home, with fans in the stadium. It is not the kind of situation where they can just finish on a quiet one. Jack Grealish is back and gaining fitness and we know they are a different proposition when he is in the team. I just think when Villa are on it they cause problems and they will want to go out on a high.

Sometimes, you just get feelings. I just fancy Villa to get something from the game.

The top four in the Premier League qualify for the Champions League group stage, as well as the winners of the Champions League and Europa League - should they finish outside the first four places.

A maximum of five English teams can play in the Champions League.

Chelsea face Manchester City in the Champions League final so even if Thomas Tuchel's side miss out on the top four, they have another bite of the cherry.

The Blues will be guaranteed third place and a Champions League spot if they beat Aston Villa today.

It's more complicated regarding Liverpool and Leicester, who are currently level on points (66), with the Reds edging ahead on goal difference.

If Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Anfield, Leicester would have to beat Tottenham by a five-goal margin to finish fourth - assuming Chelsea win.
