    Aston Villa 0-0 Chelsea

Hosts Villa have started brightly against Champions League finalists Chelsea and are looking to force the issue.

Ollie Watkins found space down the right but was snuffed out as he entered the area.

  2. Postpublished at 16:05 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Leeds 0-0 West Brom

Leeds skipper Liam Cooper is clearly up for this one in front of the home support.

He's received a booking inside the opening few minutes for catching Darnell Furlong with his arm.

It goes to a VAR check, but it's just the yellow. Long way to go - he'll have to be very careful not to get carried away despite the party atmosphere at Elland Road.

  3. Postpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Liverpool 0-0 Crystal Palace

Wilfried Zaha is slipped in on the left. He dances past Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alisson has to make a crucial block at the near post.

If Palace score early it will make things very interesting...

  4. 'Legend'published at 16:03 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Man City 0-0 Everton

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd and Aston Villa striker on Final Score

He deserves all the adulation. The players and the club know how important he has been.

I will miss watching him play in the Premier League. I will miss watching his expertise.

He is a proper legend. That goal will live with Manchester City and they will never replace him.

  5. Postpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    West Ham 0-0 Southampton

Jesse Lingard tries to find Tomas Soucek with a through ball but it's dealt with at the back by Southampton, who have enjoyed the majority of the early possession so far.

  6. Postpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Leicester 0-0 Tottenham

An early goal for Leicester would set things up nicely.

But in fact it's Spurs on the attack in the opening minutes but Son Heung-min's low shot is blocked and dribbles into the hands of Kasper Schmeichel.

Everton give Man City a guard of honour, and then they and the City players do the same for Sergio Aguero so he gets one just for him too. A nice tribute to a Premier League legend.

  8. 'Someone they can turn to'published at 16:00 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Liverpool 0-0 Crystal Palace

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

Nat Phillips has shown he is an able deputy for Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez, when they are fit again.

He scored in the last game as well and he is developing nicely. He is someone they can turn to.

Sergio Aguero was given a guard of honour at the Etihad by both teams and staff just before kick-off.

The Liverpool fans' rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" was something worth listening to.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

10 games, all at the same time. Lovely.

The final day of the 2020-21 Premier League season is under way.

  11. Postpublished at 15:57 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Almost ready to go.

So just to remind you, it's a three-horse race between Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester for a Champions League spot.

West Ham, Tottenham and Everton are all going for a Europa League spot. Those teams and Arsenal are in contention for a Europa Conference League place too.

We'll keep you updated with the swings and roundabouts as we go. Should be fun!

  12. 'They can still do it today'published at 15:55 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Leicester v Tottenham (16:00 BST)

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

The fact Leicester are pushing Liverpool and Chelsea to the last day is testament to what they have done.

I would rather have had an FA Cup in the bag [if they miss out] but they can still do it today. Youri Tielemans and Wilfred Ndidi is a top midfield and it will be difficult to keep hold of their players.

  13. 'Punching above their weight'published at 15:54 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Leicester v Tottenham (16:00 BST)

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd and Aston Villa striker on Final Score

Leicester are a smaller club in stature than the clubs around them. They are punching above their weight but they have been excellent.

I do not think anything has gone wrong. Everything is pointing in the right direction and I do not have a negative thought about Leicester City.

  14. Am I at a football game or a gig?published at 15:53 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

Man City v Everton (16:00 BST)

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

It's easy to forget there's a game to be played at Etihad Stadium today because there's a party atmosphere at Etihad Stadium already, with Stockport band and (mostly) City fans Blossoms out on a stage high in one corner of the ground blasting out some tunes.

City boss Pep Guardiola will surely approve - he's been trying to get Noel Gallagher to bring his guitar to a game for ages.

  15. 'Making people sit up'published at 15:52 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

Aston Villa v Chelsea (16:00 BST)

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd and Aston Villa striker on Final Score

I like the way Thomas Tuchel handles himself. He has started to mould that Chelsea side into a team that is making people sit up.

He is a clever manager and he knows what he's doing. With a bit more quality in the side, they could be right up there next season.

  16. Postpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

Man City v Everton (16:00 BST)

The party has already started at the Etihad. There's a band playing on a stage in front of a banner saying "champions".

A gig and a football match in the same day! Lucky fans.

There are a few tinfoil FA Cups being waved around at the King Power Stadium. Leftovers from what was a very special day for the club at Wembley. Bananaman is also here for some reason. Let himself go a bit, though, during lockdown.

Nice little atmosphere building up, laced through with a big dollop of tension ahead of the Foxes make-or-break Champions League game. Sure there'll be a lot of phones being checked to see what is going on at Anfield and Villa Park.

For Tottenham, Harry Kane has had a haircut. Making himself look nice for the summer suitors?

Man City v Everton (16:00 BST)

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

The Etihad has just heard its first chant of the season... 38 games in.

As you might expect, it's to celebrate the Premier League title - plenty more of the same to come before, during and after the game too, when the trophies come out.

Judging from the songs I heard outside, Sergio Aguero is going to have his name sung a lot this afternoon too. So will Manchester United defender Phil Jones, sadly for him... as in the line in 'this is how it feels to be City' that goes 'You've signed Phil Jones, we sign Kun Aguero, Kun Aguero' that has been an Etihad favourite for the past decade.

The players are out now and warming up - the atmosphere must be odd for them too, as in actually having one.

  20. Ligue 1 final daypublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 23 May 2021

    Lille, PSG, Monaco

It's also the final day of the top-flight season in France, with a gripping finale expected to decide who will be crowned champions of Ligue 1.

The top three - Lille, Paris St-Germain and Monaco - are separated by three points.

Leaders Lille are one point ahead of PSG going into today's final round of matches - which all kick off at 20:00 BST - and are one win away from taking the crown for the first time since 2010-11.

Read all the permutations here. You can follow the drama from that on our live text from 19:30 BST tonight.
