"These are hard games because they are defending all the time. We had to stay patient. "
Beth Mead talking to ITV: It is just an amazing feeling. It is an honour pulling on the shirt and to come away with a hat-trick is a special feeling.
The manager said 'go out there and make a difference'. It has to be up there in my career. To score at hat-trick for England at Wembley has to be up there for me and my family.

England 4-0 Northern Ireland

Beth Mead has been ruthless since (about) 10 seconds after she came on.
You can tell she's a player in confidence. The way she hit that volley for her second goal was sweet. And a hat-trick was always on the cards!
Beth Mead (78 minutes)
Beth Mead grabs her hat-trick!
Jackie Burns races out of her goal to deny Beth England her second of the evening, she gets there first but the rebound falls kindly for Mead who has the simple job of tucking into an unguarded net.
This is far more clinical from the hosts, but you have to feel sorry for Northern Ireland after their defensive display.

It had been hoped before the game the total would be closer to the 30,000 mark, but those at Wembley have made a good amount of noise regardless.
Beth Mead (74 mins)
Here come the floodgates! Beth Mead slams home at the back post for her second of the night!

Bethany England (72 mins)
Lauren Hemp chips Jackie Burns and Bethany England, another one of the subs, gets a touch on the line to make it two!
England had just about stayed onside, and it might go to the dubious goals panel as it may have crossed the line before she got a touch.
