England only needed a point but they got all three anyway as they continued their perfect qualifying campaign to book their place at the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Sarina Wiegman's side have now won all nine of their Group D matches, scoring 70 goals and not conceding any.

The whole England squad are in a huddle on the pitch several minutes after full-time. It ends with a round of applause and cheers before the Lionesses go over to thank their travelling fans.

England have now qualified for the FIFA Women's World Cup six times. They reached the quarter-finals in 1995, 2007 and 2011 and then finishing third in 2015 and fourth in 2019.

But Sarina Wiegman's side look like they are capable of that little bit more.

England will complete their Group D qualifiers when they face Luxembourg in Stoke on Tuesday.

At the moment the England players are in a big huddle near the centre circle listening to Sarina Wiegman presumably giving them plenty of praise.

England have qualified for the World Cup finals.

In comes the ball which is half cleared allowing Marina Georgieva to volley an effort at the England goal. But that's an easy save for Mary Earps.

Now can England keep their superb record of having not conceded in this group? Austria have a free-kick out on the right and are sending players into the England box.

Georgia Stanway's corner is cleared but still England come forward searching for a third goal.

Laura Feiersinger and Barbara Dunst go off to be replaced by Marie Hobinger and Lisa Kolb for Austria.

Rachel Daly comes on for Lucy Bronze for England.

This is job done as far as England are concerned. They've not had it all their own way and they have survived a couple of scares.

But the European champions have done what they arrived in Austria to do - qualify for the 2023 World Cup.

There's only a few England fans in the crowd but they are making plenty of noise in the closing stages.

Two more changes for England. Lauren James comes on to make her Lionesses debut in place of Ella Toone and Jess Carter is on for Leah Williamson.

The hosts also make a switch with Katja Wienerroither coming on for Nicole Billa.

Almost a third for England and a second for Nikita Parris but the Manchester United forward can't quite find the top-right corner after she opens up her body to shoot across Manuela Zinsberger's goal.

England very much in charge now and they are playing like a team who know they are on their way to the World Cup.
