  2. 'Most difficult night of my career' - Wrightpublished at 22:27 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

FT: Kilmarnock 1-2 Dundee (2-4 agg)

Kilmarnock boss Tommy Wright tells BBC Sportsound tonight is the most difficult thing he's had to deal with in his career.

"We deserved it over the two games and the season as a whole," he adds.

"Dundee were more competitive than us and showed more desire. If you look at the four goals, we've gifted them.

"I said if we did the basics well we'd stay up, but we haven't all season. What I've seen tonight isn't what this club deserves.

"My future is for another day, it's not right for me to discuss that now. It shouldn't have got to this, but it has. I still take it as my responsibility.

On Kyle Lafferty's future, Wright doubts whether he will be a Kilmarnock player next season.

  3. 'We want to be what Killie have been' - McPakepublished at 22:22 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

FT: Kilmarnock 1-2 Kilmarnock (2-4 agg)

Dundee boss James McPake tells BBC Sportsound: "The players work really hard. All credit has to go to them.

"They've been outstanding. The way they controlled both games was fantastic.

On the kind words his players have been saying about him, McPake adds: "That's because they want me to pick up the tab for the beer they'll be drinking tonight!

"There have been tough times. There have been sore defeats. We believed we were a Premiership club.

"It was the biggest game of my life and I'm delighted we got over the line.

"We want to be what Kilmarnock have been. We want to be a stable club in the Premiership. We'll get a few in, we'll strengthen for next season."

I didn't think Kilmarnock would be as poor tonight. I thought there would be a reaction. If anything, Dundee were better than they were on Thursday.
