    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Might only be 500 home fans, but you can hear their frustration as Kirk Broadfoot swings in an aimless ball that goals behind.

Needs to be much, much better from Tommy Wright's men.

Dundee have been exceptional. The two full-backs have been magnificent. All their departments are functioning really, really well.

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:53 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Kilmarnock's defence is all at sea again as Jordan McGhee gets down the right.

He looks for Charlie Adam who is free as a bird but the cross takes a nick. Paul McGowan instead gets his head to it but the ball bounces just wide of the far post.

  4. Postpublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Like Mitch Pinnock, Charlie Adam decides to have an ambitious pop of his own, but it curls wide of the top corner.

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Kilmarnock on the front foot early as Kyle Lafferty wins a free-kick wide on the left.

Mitch Pinnock swings the ball in but it's dealt with. The Killie winger has a go from range moments later but it's high and wide.

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

One shot on target in 135 minutes of play-off football for Kilmarnock.

    Staggering and sobering statistic.

I think this formation change and differing tactics will actually hinder Kilmarnock more. There is hesitation and confusion amongst the players. You have to assume Tommy Wright is drilling these new plans into the players because so far, they've failed to grasp it and look lost.

Kilmarnock have not shown any threat at all. The possession is with their deeper players, but that is no use. Dundee haven't been tested.

  12. HALF-TIME - Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)published at 20:33 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

Kilmarnock are swirling round the sinkhole here.

28 years of top-flight football is just about dead and buried.

Dundee have been sensational and should be out of sight, but they've been aided by a woeful showing from Tommy Wright's men.

  13. Postpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Another dangerous Mitch Pinnock cross looks certain to meet the sliding Danny Whitehall but Lee Ashcroft gets there first to make a HUGE interception.

What a moment that could be.

  14. Postpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Half a chance for the hosts to get one back before the break.

Mitch Pinnock guides in a ball to opposite winger Chris Burke, but Dundee left-back Jordan Marshall does enough to put the Killie man off at the back post.

Must say, Marshall has been outstanding in this first half.

  15. Postpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

The space Dundee are getting in midfield is baffling.

It's almost like Kilmarnock have played this entire half like its the 94th minute.

  16. Postpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Paul McGowan has a point. Rory McKenzie comes sliding in and the ball clips his hand.

But the Dundee man has just got to hit that! Quite unbelievable the more you watch it.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Dearie me, that could and should have been it.

Paul McMullan does brilliantly again and stabs a ball into Jordan McGhee who glances a delightful header onto the crossbar.

The ball breaks to Paul McGowan who, instead of shooting, claims for a penalty for handball. Extraordinary.

  18. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

James McPake's men are still hungry for more goals.

The space some of his players are getting is beyond belief as Paul McGowan sees a cross from the left drop behind Colin Doyle's goal.

  19. Postpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Now I've calmed down a bit I've just realised I used Thierry Henry to describe a Danny Mullen goal.

And I'm pleased to announce I'm sticking by it. Sorry.

  20. Wright turns to bench alreadypublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Just over half an hour on the clock but Tommy Wright has already made his first change, and you can't blame him.

Forward Danny Whitehall is the man to come on for left-back Brandon Haunstrup. Change of shape, surely.
