    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Jordan McGhee, who has been a goal machine of late, tries his luck with a lone-range volley, but it's miles over.

Worth a pop in with the form he's in though.

  2. Dundee well preparedpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Quote Message

There is nothing on show that suggests Kilmarnock are going to threaten Dundee, but that is more because of what Dundee are doing. They're so solid.

  3. Postpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

But Kilmarnock are knocking at the door here as as the ball breaks to Kyle Lafferty in the box.

The striker's shot is blocked superbly and Cammy Kerr gets his head first to the rebound and wins a foul at the same time.

  4. Postpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

I can't believe this is the same Dundee side that needed extra-time to put out Bonnyrigg Rose in the Scottish Cup in January.

The transformation of this team in such a short space of time is incredible.

  5. Postpublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Tame shouts for a penalty for the away side as Danny Mullen is denied by a last-ditch challenge from Kirk Broadfoot.

Yet to see a replay but looked like a cracking tackle from the Killie man. Another opening for the visitors though...

  6. Postpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Killie seeing a lot of the ball the past few minutes but still no clear-cut opening.

I feel like a broken record but Dundee are so well organised of late.

  7. Postpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

Kilmarnock need three goals without reply here.

The issue there is "without reply". The defending is that bad and the game is that open you feel it could be anything.

Kilmarnock are rattled. The front three of Dundee are scaring Killie.

  9. Postpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)

In an attacking sense, Killie have actually started... alright.

Again they get the ball out wide as Ross Millen whips in a teasing cross but it evades everyone in the Dundee box.

Dundee look very compact and solid. They've started very well in their shape.

That is appalling defending. Ashcroft is Dundee's biggest threat from set-pieces. He has the roaming of Rugby Park, I can't believe my eyes.

    GOAL! Kilmarnock 0-2 Dundee (1-4 agg)published at 19:58 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Lee Ashcroft

    Dundee are in dreamland!

Paul McGowan's inswinging corner is dealt with, well, no one. It's diabolical defending again as Ashcroft is free to nod in from close range.

    Quote Message

It's not a big lump from Adam, he knows Mullen will fight for every ball. McMullan has the drive and determination to keep the move going and then it's a composed finish from Mullen to put Dundee well in the driving seat.

  14. Postpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-1 Dundee (1-3 agg)

Similar to the first leg, Dundee are well on top after scoring and Killie look spooked.

A sweeping move results in full-back Jordan Marshall getting to the byline and seeing a cross go behind for a corner.

Paul McMullan took a sore one in the build-up to that opening but he looks like he might be alright.

  15. goal

    GOAL! Kilmarnock 0-1 Dundee (1-3 agg)published at 19:53 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Danny Mullen

Remember that thing I said about Dundee getting space on the break?

The away side clear the ball forward, Mullen knocks it down to Paul McMullan and it's two on two.

The defending is woeful from Killie but McMullan bides his time and slips in Mullen who bends it into the far corner Thierry Henry-esque.

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee (1-2 agg)

Chris Burke is causing problems early on as he again whips a dangerous ball in.

Rory McKenzie flicks it on before Cammy Kerr nods it out for a corner.

Huge roar from the Kille fans but the corner comes to nothing.

It's been an aggressive start from Kilmarnock. I got goosebumps in those opening minutes, hearing the fans, it's fantastic they're back and they'll be such an asset to Kilmarnock tonight.

  18. Postpublished at 19:48 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee (1-2 agg)

They're yet to cause Killie a problem but already you can see the space that Dundee might be afforded on the break.

Oh aye, we're in for a treat tonight.

  19. Postpublished at 19:47 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee (1-2 agg)

Kilmarnock have started quickly as Chris Burke plucks down a ball out wide before cutting onto his left and curling in a low cross.

But the visitors deal with it easily enough.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 24 May 2021

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee (1-2 agg)

    We're underway at Rugby Park.

I've got a good feeling about this one.
