    Swansea 1-1 Barnsley (Agg: 2-1)

Huge chance for Swansea goes begging.

Korey Smith, brought on to add defensive solidity in midfield, finds himself clear on goal after a fine pass over the top by Matt Grimes.

Smith never looks confident and slips, allowing Brad Collins to gather.

Connor Roberts then has a shot, which Collins saves.

    Swansea 1-1 Barnsley (Agg: 2-1)

A rare foray into Barnsley's half for Swansea, and it's Andre Ayew who carries the ball into the penalty area.

He's supported by Matt Grimes and Jay Fulton but the move breaks down and Barnsley regain possession.

    Swansea 1-1 Barnsley (Agg: 2-1)

Swansea are holding on at the moment. They can barely get out of their half.

A foul by Barnsley's Callum Styles buys the home side a bit of time but there is no doubt they are under pressure.

Connor Roberts is finding it hard to get into this game, he's struggling to find his touch and it's a hard game to come on in.

Swansea have to defend with everything they have now.

Korey Smith will add some steel in midfield.

That's a great breakaway and a great finish.

Swansea didn't learn their lesson from the other night about how quickly Barnsley can counter-attack from defending set-pieces.

Matty Grimes has made a mistake going to ground trying to win the tackle.

It's a great finish from Cauley Woodrow, he showed great composure.

We always knew the next goal was crucial and this will give Barnsley one heck of a big lift.

GOAL - Swansea 1-1 Barnsley (Agg: 2-1)published at 71 mins

    Cauley Woodrow

    A lightning-quick counter-attack by Barnsley!

Substitute right-back Jordan Williams sets off on a marauding run, from his own half all the way towards the Swansea penalty area.

He pulls the ball back to the edge of the box, where Cauley Woodrow connects with an excellent first-time shot.

A fine goal and it is very much game on!

  14. 'That's massive'published at 69 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

    Ian Walsh
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

Good play there from Barnsley and that is massive from Jake Bidwell, he's just thrown his body in the way.

Barnsley have big hearts, they scrap so hard, they work so hard, the game is opening up and they won't give up.

It could be a long end to the game for Swansea if Barnsley score.

  15. Postpublished at 68 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

It's end to end all of a sudden.

Swansea are having to deal with a flurry of Barnsley set-pieces again. An Alex Mowatt free-kick is cleared, as is a Callum Brittain throw-in.

Swansea try to break after the second clearance but Connor Roberts' pass is intercepted.

Barnsley then counter-attack and Jordan Williams sneaks in at the back post but his shot is well blocked by Jake Bidwell.

It's an absolute battle between Marc Guehi and Ben Cabnago and Daryl Dike. He really puts himself about.

    Good save!

Callum Styles' corner for Barnsley finds Carlton Morris at the back post and his header is well saved by Freddie Woodman.

The Swansea keeper comes for the next corner and is a little lucky as his punch deflects off a Barnsley head and out for a goal kick.

  18. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

Swansea look to launch a counter-attack and, after some neat build-up play from Andre Ayew and Jay Fulton, they're thwarted by the covering Alex Mowatt.

Into the final half an hour now and the Swans look like they're in control.

  19. 'Interesting substitution'published at 59 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

    Ian Walsh
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

It's obviously a really sad sight to see Wayne Routledge leave on a stretcher, but it's an interesting substitution.

Liam Cullen would have been the obvious change.

The fans love Connor Roberts. In a way it's just matching up like-for-like with Barnsley after the changes they made.

  20. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

Judging by how far up the field Connor Roberts was for a Swansea goal kick just now, it would seem the home side have stuck to the 4-3-3 system they started in, with Roberts wide on the right of an attacking three.

As a wing-back, he will also offer Swansea a bit more protection defensively as they look to preserve their lead.
