  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 54 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

Wayne Routledge is helped off the field and on to a stretcher.

On in his place comes Wales international Connor Roberts.

Roberts usually plays as a right wing-back so it will be interesting to see if he plays in an advanced midfield position like Routledge or if Swansea tweak their shape.

Wayne Routledge looks - and sounds - like he is in real pain and is receiving treatment.

The Swansea forward seemed to land awkwardly and, as he's clutching his knee, Routledge lets out a cry of anguish.

The 36-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season so he may not have many Swans appearances left.

    Ian Walsh

Steve Cooper won't have needed to say too much.

With the score, the fans being in, he probably just told them to keep going and to keep a cool head. Keep battling.

Daryl Dike and Marc Guehi waste no time in renewing acquaintances and it's the Swansea centre-back who prospers this time, Guehi winning his header and a free-kick to boot.

  6. 'The next goal...'published at 48 mins

It's an obvious thing to say I know, but the next goal is so vital.

If Swansea get it, you would think that will be enough.

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

United States striker Daryl Dike, who's just come on for Barnsley, had an enjoyable running battle with Swansea centre-backs Ben Cabango and Marc Guehi in the first leg.

Let's see if there will be more fireworks this time.

  8. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

The second half is under way and Barnsley have made two changes at the break.

HT: Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

That first half was remarkably similar to the first half of last Monday's first leg.

Barnsley having the better of an attritional contest low on quality, but trailing to a brilliant left-footed strike in the 39th minute.

At Oakwell it was Andre Ayew supplying the killer touch, this time it's Matt Grimes.

  11. HALF-TIME - Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)published at 19:17 British Summer Time 22 May 2021

That's the half-time whistle and Swansea are edging closer to the Championship play-off final at Wembley.

Barnsley had the better of that bruising first half but Swansea won't care.

Matt Grimes' beauty has put them in the driving seat.

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

    Gareth Vincent

What a fabulous finish from Matt Grimes to light up a game that has been short on quality.

It was a remarkably similar effort to the goal scored by Leon Britton in Swansea's Championship play-off semi-final second leg against Nottingham Forest at this ground a decade ago.

  13. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

Having offered next to nothing in attack for most of the first half, Swansea are now hunting for a second goal of the night.

Conor Hourihane swings in a left-footed corner from the right and it almost curls all the way into the net, but Barnsley keeper Brad Collins punches the ball away.

  14. 'Brilliant skill, brilliant first touch'published at 19:12 British Summer Time 22 May 2021

    Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)

    Ian Walsh
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

    Brilliant skill, brilliant first touch.

Matt Grimes looks like he will strike it but he shimmies and cuts inside and it's a great finish.

He's got a wand of a left foot and it's a great strike from him.

Now Swansea must keep concentrating. They can't think they are there and that the job is done, it's still on a knife-edge, but two goals is a fantastic advantage.

GOAL - Swansea 1-0 Barnsley (Agg: 2-0)published at 39 mins

    Matt Grimes

    What a strike!

Barnsley keeper Brad Collins punches clear a Conor Hourihane cross from a free-kick out wide on the left.

The ball is then headed by Jay Fulton on to his fellow Swansea midfielder Matt Grimes, who shifts past Callum Brittain and curls a brilliant shot from the edge of the penalty area into the top corner.

Like Andre Ayew in the first leg, a real moment of quality from the Swans' captain.

  16. 'Barnsley have edged it'published at 37 mins

    Swansea 0-0 Barnsley (Agg: 1-0)

    Ian Walsh
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

Barnsley need to drop these long balls into the strikers, but at the moment they are hitting long balls over their heads, which is no good for the strikers.

There is not much between the sides. Barnsley have edged it because we know how much better Swansea can be.

  18. Not a pretty affairpublished at 35 mins

    Swansea 0-0 Barnsley (Agg: 1-0)

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

This has not been a pretty contest.

Barnsley, as usual, are getting the ball forward as fast as possible while Swansea, for the most part, seem content to play them at their own game.

Steve Cooper's side are at their best when they play a passing game - but they have had little control in possession so far.

  19. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Swansea 0-0 Barnsley (Agg: 1-0)

Swansea's Marc Guehi was named the official man of the match in last Monday's 1-0 first-leg win at Oakwell, and he's started this game in similarly impressive form.

The centre-back on loan from Chelsea, still only 20, has been one of Swansea's best players this season.

  20. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Swansea 0-0 Barnsley (Agg: 1-0)

Barnsley are enjoying an encouraging period at the moment.

They're keeping Swansea in their own half and work the ball to the edge of the penalty area but Carlton Morris loses out to a fine tackle by Marc Guehi.
