You can take the men out of England but you can't take England out of the men!

Nigel - I shall be watching in Kaiserslautern, with my spare England shirts hanging in the windows

Carl - Watching tonight from my man den in Northern Finland - not sure we have too many supporters here but I will be loud enough !

Benny - Watching the match in Wellington, New Zealand... Kick off time? 4am!

    England v Germany (17:00 BST)

    Jurgen Klinsmann
Former Germany head coach, BBC Sport column

Part of what makes this latest meeting super-exciting for everyone is that it is so close to call.

I would put both team's chances at 50-50 and it could go either way. No-one wants to think about exiting the Euros, but it will happen to one of us, and we know it.

Both teams have had good and bad moments in the group stages but that doesn't matter because this is a different phase - it is the beauty of knockout football, and it is a new tournament now.

Tuesday is not about playing well - I doubt anyone will remember that afterwards. It's about getting through to the quarter-finals, and it doesn't matter how.

Fans have started arriving on Wembley Way and there's one or two Gareth Southgate lookalikes. There will be 40,000 inside Wembley in four and a bit hours time.

How are we all feeling? My excitement levels are going through the roof!

John - Heading back from work, get the kids fed, wife has to go out for a meeting so I'll be trying to get the 3 kids to sit and watch the match with me. Failing that, wireless earbuds and 5live so the game can follow me through the house! Wish me luck. Come on England!

England's attack is the obvious area where we need to get better if we are going to make it all the way to the final at Wembley on 11 July.

To me, it looks like Gareth Southgate felt we looked a little bit vulnerable defensively, and he has definitely addressed that but, in doing so, he has taken something away from us when we go forward.

Our attacking stats so far in this tournament are not great - we have had the least shots and created the fewest chances of any of the teams in the last 16, and our stats for both are worse than many of the teams who did not make it through.

If England win, Gareth Southgate will be viewed as the manager who has shifted history slightly back in their favour in this fixture and opened up what could be a favourable path to their first major tournament final since West Germany were beaten in the 1966 World Cup at Wembley.

If England lose, Southgate will face questions about just how far this England team have really travelled and why they are still missing the ruthless winning mentality that has seen them slip at crucial times, such as the 2018 World Cup semi-final against Croatia in Moscow.

Two big if's but do you agree?

    England v Germany (17:00 BST)

    Alan Shearer

England against Germany will be an amazing occasion - I cannot wait, and I'm feeling pretty confident about it too.

There are so many stories behind our previous meetings at major finals, whether they have ended well or badly for us. I have played in a few, and experienced both outcomes myself.

This time? It's going to be tough, but we are at Wembley in front of 40,000 fans and there are a few other things that give us hope.

Germany were less than 10 minutes away from being knocked out of Euro 2020 before Leon Goretzka's late equaliser against Hungary, and there are plenty of question marks about Joachim Low's side.
