Gary: This one is more based on nostalgia rather than aesthetics for me as in my skinny teenage frame it was incredibly baggy, but I loved this shirt for a couple of reasons. Memories of Euro 96 an obvious one, but it was also one of the first England shirts I remember wearing and for that reason remains my first love.

Stunning Martin!
It's also started an argument between Gary and I (Joe) which we'll need your help to solve.
Which England kit is better, hit the thumbs.
We'll start with Gary's choice...

England have been very average all tournament. I see a narrow Ukrainian win tonight. Hopefully in extra time.

Angus Wakefield: The pressure is on England today, playing against a team who have already exceeded their own expectations. Fully believe in this squad and manager- COME ON ENGLAND!!

The beer tents are up and the giant screens are ready in central Kyiv ahead of tonight’s match against England – already Ukraine’s best ever performance at the Euros.
At one city fan zone, the organisers claim they have the biggest outdoor screen in Europe and they’re expecting a crowd of thousands – especially as Covid has stopped most fans from travelling.
Manager Andrei Shevchenko says the team’s showing so far is already a triumph, but the fans in Kyiv are thirsty for more.
Alyona, a pink-haired computer programmer in her 30s, told me the game would be a "spectacular fight", and she was "supercharged" ahead of kick-off.
"Our players have a very strong will and though England is very strong, we will use every chance," she said.

I reckon Kyle Walker is probably a great cricketer. England right-backs always are. Gary Neville once shared a 200-run partnership with Aussie great Matthew Hayden in '92.

Getting in the mood by watching THAT Stokes/Leach last wicket stand to win the Ashes test- hoping we don't get quite that drama tonight!!

And then one night in Rome.
England's last played at the Stadio Olimpico against Italy in a World Cup qualifier in 1997. England needed a draw to top their group and qualify automatically for the 1998 World Cup.
The final score, 0-0.
We were strong, we had grown.
The last time England won a game in Rome by the way was a friendly against Italy in 1961. A goal from Jimmy Armfield and a double from Mick McNeil helped England to a 3-2 victory.

Conor Amphlett: Me and my mate got to Palermo airport nice and early, only to miss our flight sitting around waiting around for the queue to go down doing the BBC quiz. Didn't realise ours ended and they were queueing for a new flight. After a frantic run got tickets for next flight. All's well that ends well I suppose, but was convinced it was over and we'd miss it. Will likely miss our entry slot, hopefully won't get any grief from the stewards.

In a pre-game analysis, the Ukrainian website Sport.ua, external has predicted that “Shevchenko most likely will choose the formation with three centre-backs. England is a very compact and fast team, good at flank attacks. So in this case the 5-3-2 scheme looks suitable.”
It says the Ukrainians will be more “psychologically relaxed” than in the Sweden game and the team may benefit from being underestimated by their opponents. “It will be good to punish the smug Brits” it says.
It goes on to say that the match is “unlikely to be enchanting due to the peculiarity of the current England squad, which puts its stake on pragmatism and defence… the game is likely to turn into football chess”.

Three years ago today, history was made.
On 3 July 2018, England won their first-ever penalty shootout at a World Cup, beating Colombia 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw to reach the quarter-finals.
Re-live some good England memories below.

Seven years ago Oleksandr Zinchenko was playing street football in Moscow, having fled his own country because of war.
Fast forward to today and he has won the Premier League three times, an FA Cup and four League Cups with Manchester City, and is also set to captain his country in their first European Championship quarter-final.

Keith Miller: We have arrived in Rome for the game, looking forward to supporting the lads at Stadio Olimpico, needing to buy some flags and t-shirts to show our support. If anyone knows where we can buy, let us know!
Hit Keith up if anyone is able to help him out!

Reports doing the rounds, external suggest the above team could be how England line up tonight, reverting to a back four while Jadon Sancho seems set to come in for Bukayo Saka, who is an injury doubt.
Thoughts? And who would you pick?
