I love the fact that the referees are just letting more things go - it helps the flow of the game and eventually players will start to think 'alright then I might as well just try and stay on my feet'. It really does help the game.

It looked like a penalty to the naked eye as Dominic Calvert-Lewin went to ground following a tussle with Liam Cooper. We were made to wait because of an injury to Mateusz Klich, but as soon as the referee went to the monitor the writing was on the wall for the home side.

Calvert-Lewin made no mistake with the spot-kick before riling the home fans further by celebrating in front of the Kop.

Leeds had been firmly on top, but it is first blood to Rafa Benitez's men.

Still goalless at Villa Park but the hosts are beginning to grow into the game. Matty Cash slings a long, looping throw into the box and it results in a corner.

Chance to whip one for John McGinn and Newcastle stopper Freddy Woodman flaps at it a bit, before the visitors manage to hack clear.

Palace come close as Conor Gallagher has a go following excellent footwork by Jeff Schlupp, but the shot lacks power and is straight at David Raya.

The Retrospective: Really soft pen for Leeds to concede, who were just about on top. Silly from Cooper, but Calvert-Lewin was also giving Cooper a shove as well. Strange to see the attacking side get the rub in those situations

For the Norwich players it must be like you're playing against 14 men - every ball is being closed down. Pep Guardiola knows he needs that from these players, that intensity.

Brentford have only just come up to the top flight but the Bees are buzzing in possession, playing some confident football and displaying some nice touches.

Thomas Frank's side are just lacking a little in the final third though.

Conor Gallagher has covered every blade of grass for Palace though, looking to stop any attack from the visitors.
