Southampton had been working their way into this game and now they have the reward of that excellent Che Adams goal.

Lots of complaining from Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire in particular that there had been a foul in the build but they fell on deaf ears.

Manchester United have gone flat after that bright opening and now they need to pick up the tempo again.

I don't think it was a foul.

Southampton play it around the 18-yard box and Che Adams gets it onto this left foot and it is a brilliant finish.

There is a slight deflection but the last 10 minutes Southampton have deserved it.

The Tottenham player is fouled by Jose Sa, gets up, dusts himself off and slots Spurs into the lead from the spot.

It remains 0-1 with just over 30 minutes gone.

Adama Traore is causing Tottenham a few problems.

The Spain international is trying to isolate Japhet Tanganga so he can get a good run at the young defender.

Tottenham need to give Tanganga some cover otherwise they will be in trouble.

Tottenham dealing principally in driven long-range balls out wide to try and capitalise on the speed of their forwards.

It means a lot of sacrificed possession to a threatening-looking Wolves.

Traore again destroys Tanganga down the left before his low ball is flicked back to the striker for a shot that drifts just over the bar.

The celebrations for that, had it gone in, would have been something.

Is Adama oiled up today? I can't tell. If he is it didn't work as he is held back for a foul in the Spurs half.

Unfortunately, the delivery is terrible and cleared before Ruben Neves fires off target from range.
