Brilliant ball by Milivojevic to switch it and Spurs were at sixes and sevens, no one was marking Edouard. Lloris did get a hand to it but a perfect end to a perfect game for Palace.

Odsonne Edouard hands out high fives. Not a bead of sweat on him. Two goals in his back pocket, though.

Arsenal fans around The Emirates are enjoying Spurs' struggles at Crystal Palace. Huge cheers among those watching the big screens as Palace are awarded, and then score from, a penalty then more as the face of their former hero Patrick Vieira flashes up celebrating the goal.

Mikel Arteta will hope their good cheer continues.

Palace have a deserved first win. Spurs didn't land a punch, lost a man to a red card and end up crushed.

Conor Gallagher is still pressing in injury time. He's been really good today. A bundle of energy, intent and neat touches.

People say Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to put trophies in the trophy room, that is what the Manchester United manager has to do. He has said that it is a group that has been in development for a couple years.

I have said I would much rather take three years and then from three years and onwards we are going to win and win and win.

I would rather give Ole the time to build that squad so he can compete for the Premier League and the Champions League.

I would love for him to win the Premier League, but if you look at the other three contenders it is tough company.

With Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire that is building on the defence and it looks really solid now.

We have got a lot of players there that are exciting like Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood.

But I am not going to say we are going to win this or win that.

Emerson Royal does well to fend off the charging Wilfried Zaha and win a goal kick off the Palace forward. Showed some wheels there to keep up.

I don't think it is easy for Ronaldo to instil a winning mentality into a football team. I don't think it is a football thing, I think it is a generational thing.

You don't create those kind of characters. A lot of players come into the game very young and become very rich early on.

In my time we did not make that much money, a lot of players were fighting to pay their mortgages. It was a different time back then.

Ronaldo has been the best player in the world five times, he is still hungry to get more of that. I hope he can show everybody at the club what it is like to be at the top, especially to the young players.

I think coaching will be easier for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, he has got someone there who is self-sufficient. Ronaldo left Manchester United with a reputation of being a nice guy.

"Are you Arsenal in disguise," sing the Palace fans. Oof.

What a way to make your Selhurst Park debut, the fans will love Edouard already. He has been on the pitch, what 15 seconds? He finds the bottom corner, exactly what Palace had been missing all game.

There is nothing better for a striker than confidence, and getting a goal after 15 seconds how much quicker can you feel at home?

That is the win in the bag for Palace. A first of the league season. Deserved too. And Patrick Vieira will be delighted. He can flick a bit of dust off his shoulder too for that Edouard substitution.

During his first spell with the Red Devils, Cristiano Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 games over six successful years in the North West.

And he says he is not back "for a vacation", which will delight Premier League defenders.

"I am capable," Ronaldo told the club's official website. "I am ready to go.

"I am not here for a vacation.

"Before was good, winning important things and I wore the shirt before, many years ago, but I am here to win again.

"It is a good chance for me, for the supporters, for the club, to get one step ahead. I am ready and I think I will be a huge thing in the next three or four years."

Ronaldo coming back was something I had been waiting for, for a very long time. Signing somebody for the club that everyone would pay attention to and with Ronaldo it is absolutely fantastic.

He has been an incredible player, the way he has looked after himself, is a massive thing for the whole club. The young players can learn from him. It is a great signing.

Ronaldo will be fantastic for the dressing room, just the fact that he has come back. To bring someone like him in, the way he conducts himself, the way he trains.

When he took his shirt off after he scored the goal for the record in international goals, it was scary.
