Harish Lakka: Is there any sport personality bigger than CR7? Brady comes close, but CR7 is global. I am sure there are many United haters who wouldn’t mind them winning it all, because CR7.

    Watford 0-2 Wolves

Romain Saiss has been down for a few minutes after taking a knock for Wolves. He's back on his feet now, just as Willy Boly is sent out to warm-up.

    Arsenal 1-0 Norwich

Definitely should be 2-0 now. Tim Krul's poor clearance allows Arsenal to come forward and Emile Smith Rowe is presented a glorious chance from a central area. He goes for placement, but sees his effort parried by the Norwich keeper, making amends.

  4. CLOSE!published at 16:45 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Leicester 0-1 Man City

A large proportion of the fans thought Leicester had wasted the opportunity when Wilfred Ndidi looked back rather than forwards.

It's loose from City though when it comes back towards the edge of the box and a poor clearance ricochets kindly for Ademola Lookman.

He's almost in but his shot is blocked from close range! What a chance!

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

We've seen Fernandes do that on many occasions. Nobody closes him down. You can not invite a player with his goal record to line up and shoot from 25 yards. Bang, top corner. Woodman no chance.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Leicester 0-1 Man City

On comes Fernandinho, who replaces Gabriel Jesus. Man City are aiming to see this one out then.

    Dion Dublin
Former England striker on Final Score

It is just great to see, you can see the way he strikes the ball. It goes to the right, to the left. It goes up, it goes down. The goalkeeper has no clue where it is going.

Leicester are pushing for an equaliser.

    Arsenal 1-0 Norwich

Should probably be 2-0. Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang is fed the ball on the left side of the box. He can pick his spot, but puts his low drive too close to Tim Krul, who saves with his boot.

    Bruno Fernandes

    What a rocket!!

Two Portugal internationals on the scoresheet for Man Utd and Bruno Fernandes gets in on the act with an absolute thunderbolt.

Newcastle defenders back off, seemingly not knowing what he is capable of.

Fernandes says thank you very much, winding up his right boot from 30 yards out and smashing an unstoppable finish into the top corner.

You would think that is game over.

    Hwang Hee-Chan (83 mins)

It's a scrappy one but Hwang Hee-Chan won't care - he's got a debut goal for Wolves and this is surely going to wrap up the three points.

Daniel Podence chips it in from the right, Marcal is at the back post but his shot is blocked and it falls to Hee-Chan to poke it in.

Still no sign of a breakthrough here. It is cagey stuff.

  18. CLOSE!published at 16:37 British Summer Time 11 September 2021

    Leicester 0-1 Man City

Raheem Sterling is onside as he creeps in behind the back four. It's chipped into him but he can only poke it over the bar from close range. It was a high bounce and just didn't fall for him in time.

    Man Utd 2-1 Newcastle

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

If Newcastle play away from home the way they've played today, they'll win a lot of games. But it is who will score the goals? If Callum Wilson is playing today, it would be a different score I think.
