Fabinho used his body to get in front of Wilfried Zaha, who claimed he was being tussled to the ground.

The referee was having none of it and Patrick Vieira barely flinched. He was involved in a few of his own back in the day...

    Burnley 0-1 Arsenal

    Neil Lennon
Former Celtic manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

The game is more open now, it is better. Burnley are making more of a fight of it but they may need to concede a bit at the back if they are to force the issue.

  17. Burnley's purposeful startpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 18 September 2021

    Burnley 0-1 Arsenal

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Turf Moor

Burnley have carried more attacking threat in the opening moments of this half than the did in all the previous one.

There is a sense of purpose about them sadly absent before the break.

That said, Emile Smith Rowe had a chance to make it two then - and given Burnley's difficulty in scoring, that would have probably have wrapped up victory.

  18. CLOSE!published at 16:11 British Summer Time 18 September 2021

    Man City 0-0 Southampton

Southampton are threatening a breakthrough, you know.

Oriol Romeu wins the ball high up the pitch and feeds Che Adams, but the Saints strike strikes wide.

  19. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 18 September 2021

Not much to report from Anfield so far this half. Alisson has been called into action to punch away a dangerous cross from Wilfried Zaha.

  20. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 18 September 2021

    Norwich 1-1 Watford

Robert Jones, what is he doing?

Danny Rose bundles over Milot Rashica in the box, nowhere near the ball and shoving over the Norwich player.

The referee, again, gives a free-kick to Watford. No idea how VAR agrees too, tbh.
