Brentford

Brentford goalscorer Ivan Toney on BT Sport talking about playing with 10 men in the second half: "We work for each other. That is the mentality we have in this dressing room, especially if you want to be in this team and in the Premier League. The boys showed that today and the boys are knackered. We got what we deserved today."

On experts looking to revise their predictions on where Brentford will finish in the league: "Everyone has their opinion, it's not factual. It's up to us to do our job and hopefully come the end of the season we are top of the league."

I'm still not worrying about Wolves. I don't know what it is about Wolves, but I just think they have got some really good players and quality.

They have caught Brentford on a good day. The performances Wolves can give you, I think later in the season they will give you.

Wolves started the game really well and it looked positive. They did well until the last third, but it looked like they didn't know what the plan was. They seemed a little bit lost.

Tom: For all their possession Wolves didn't have one shot on target, can't have too many complaints.

Wolves

Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves tells BT Sport: "We started the game well. Then we did a big mistake after that penalty. We just gave them the second goal. That was really bad for us because then we were two goals down. We tried to react but mainly after the second goal there was no more game. We did our best to get goals but in 45 minutes we had a really short time to score because we just didn't play.

"We did our best. We created some good play to score but we could not finish them. They did their job and just stopped playing after the second goal. The game was more stopped than playing in the second half but that's not their fault. We need to look at ourselves and look at the mistakes we did today because we cannot just keep losing games. We need to improve and I think we still have time to do it so we will try to react as fast as we can."

Brentford

Brentford goalscorer Ivan Toney tells Match of the Day: "I feel like we deserved it in the end. The character we showed going down to 10 men, we ran for each other and all over the pitch we were strong and deserved the three points.

On the long wait before scoring his penalty: "The longer the better really. You've got to walk away and let everyone complain and I do my job and put the ball in the back of the net. I could have got a hat-trick but the main thing is the three points and we got that today.

"Now we have set a statement that we aren't scared to go to any ground and we can do a job wherever we go, so getting three points on the road is a massive step."

On looking like an established Premier League side: "A few opponents when we go down say you're not in the Championship now. They disrespect us in the way and that pushes us on even more. A few Teams underestimate us and we just go out there and do what we've been doing and do out job. We fear nobody."

Wolves

Wolves manager Bruno Lage tells BT Sport: "The result is not good for us. Today we have been unlucky. It was a penalty for them so we gave the chance for Brentford to start winning the game. They did nothing until that moment. We had a good reaction but in the same way we lost control of the game.

"When you look back we were punished for this result but the way we play and create chances we need to score goals and cannot offer goals to the opponent like that."

Brentford

Brentford boss Thomas Frank tells BT Sport: "These players are amazing and they keep impressing me. We are going to a very difficult away game where Tottenham and Man Utd have suffered. I think we are a bit better first half dominating the game and could have had two more goals. Very impressive performance, brave everything. Second half we are down to 10 but we defended with our heart and soul and gave one chance away and that's very impressive.

On Ivan Toney: "He was superb. What a player. What a mentality. What a presence. They make the penalty on him, he executed it himself. A fantastic assist and he was ever present all over the pitch."
