    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

No question about Redmond being offside but at least it's sparked the home side into life.

Moments later Adam Armstrong has an attempt from outside the box which stings the finger tips of Jose Sa.

Southampton have the ball in the net!

A clever turn and shot by Nathan Redmond inside the box.

    He's offside.

Romeu has just confirmed why he doesn't shoot and score that often.

    Savage Tony, savage.

  4. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Oriol Romeu produces the biggest cheer of the game as he lashes a hopeful effort high and wide. The Wolves fans behind the goal sarcastically applaud the Southampton player's attempt.

You can't fault either teams efforts in trying to get forward but their final product has been really, really poor.

Both need to up their quality.

  6. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Another hopeful ball is lofted into the Wolves box only to be headed clear. It's put back into the box by Kyle Walker-Peters. Nothing comes of it.

"Come on Wanderers, Come on Wanderers," roar the travelling fans.

  7. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

At least the travelling Wolves fans are getting a decent sun tan in the away end. This game could really do with hotting up - and fast.

  8. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Tony Pulis would make a really good salesman. He's selling this game better than I ever could.

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Wolves are playing with a bit of swagger now.

In the last five minutes they've had a lot of the possession but they're lacking a good pass in the final third.

We need some more end product, both teams are just missing it at the minute.

  10. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Raul Jimenez is down after running straight into Jan Bednarek. He looks a little dazed as he climbs to his feet but it fine to continue.

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Three shots. One on target. Not a lot else.

Good play by Redmond he dropped his shoulder and cut back inside.

It's a very good ball to the back post but both players were attracted to getting in front of the goalkeeper rather than hanging behind.

  13. Postpublished at 22 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Nathan Redmond attempts to dink a cross into the six yard box but it drifts harmlessly out of play. It's been that kind of game.

Again good play by Southampton, they move the ball through the pitch quickly, they're bringing their wide players in.

If I was the Wolves manager I'd be slightly concerned at how easy they're making it look.

  15. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

After yesterday's late drama in the Premier League, I'm expecting all the goals in this game to come in the last 10 minutes.

  16. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

That's more like it from Southampton.

Adam Armstrong is a real livewire and his goal-bound attempt inside the box is well blocked.

It wouldn't have counted. An offside flag has gone up.

This is good stuff from Wolves.

There's a really nice flow as both teams try and get forward and make things happen.

  18. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Some nice crisp passing from the visitors but apart from Nelson Semedo's early attempt, there's been little in the way of a serious goal threat from either side.

  19. Postpublished at 13 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Bruno Lage has got a red felt tip pen out of his pocket and is scribbling down some notes.

Don't do it, don't do it, don't do...

    Milk, bread, hummus, cheese, tomatoes....

It's going to be an open game, both teams want to get forward and they're both getting bodies forward already.

I think it's all positive for both sides.
