  1. 'A moment money cannot buy'published at 15:22 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Southampton 0-1 Wolves

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

    What a goal!

Oh the Mexican is back and didn't he take it well ?!

Absolutely fantastic goal, he's out-muscled two centre-halves and then he's slotted it into the corner.

That will do him the world of good because before he got injured he was one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

That's a moment for Wolves that money can't buy.

GOAL - Southampton 0-1 Wolvespublished at 61 mins

    Raul Jimenez

    He's back! Vintage JIMENEZZZZZZZZ.

What a moment for the striker who turns his man inside the box before picking his spot and beating Alex McCarthy with a lovely finish.

It's his first goal since coming back from a fractured skull.

    A truly wonderful moment.

Kyle Walker-Peters is looking really menacing.

He's got a terrific turn of pace and it's helped sparked a wave of attacks for his side.

    Wolves are up against it.

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Southampton have moved up a gear!

It's been a real bright second opening for them and the keepers had to make two really good saves.

I just hope it opens up here and we get to see some quality.

  5. CLOSE!published at 57 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

No doubt about it. Southampton have come alive.

Another piece of good keeping by Jose Sa who makes a fine double save - the second effort to deny Che Adams.

    Wolves are hanging on.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 55 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

That's a decent effort and a fine save.

Valentino Livramento collects a pass just inside the box and hammers a low shot towards the net but Jose Sa is down to keep it out.

Southampton have just won their first corner. We're 53 minutes deep.

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Joao Moutinho is hurt after a challenge with James Ward-Prowse but the referee plays advantage. Wolves are looking livelier going forward. Could these two teams shock us and actually deliver a goal?

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Southampton's fans are out of their seats for a moment as James Ward-Prowse looks to create space for himself inside the Wolves box before the ball bobbles away from the Saints skipper.

  10. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

No changes by either side at the start of the second half. Southampton continue to move it patiently from the back before the ball is eventually lofted forward. It's too easy for Wolves' centre-backs who know exactly what is coming.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

It's the Saints who get the game back under way.

    Here's hoping for a better 45.

Allan: Wolves don't score in first halves of matches. Problem is they haven't scored many in second halves, lately, either.

Nigel: Saints are clueless going forward. Worryingly, you then look at the bench for some attacking inspiration and see.....nothing.

Wolves have a £35m forward sitting on their bench - as well as Adama Traore. How long before Bruno Lage thinks about sending them on?

  14. 'Decent - if you forget about the final third'published at 15:00 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    HT: Southampton 0-0 Wolves

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

At times Wolves are playing man for man at the back and in doing that, there's loads of space behind. So I would be bringing Traoré on.

I think the game needs pace and someone explosive, someone who in one-on-one situations can take someone out of the game.

For Southampton, I would just tell them to play the ball a bit quicker, get it to the two wide players quicker than what they're doing, which will create space wide for their full-backs to get better crosses into the box.

It's a decent watch if we forget the final third.

  15. 'Both managers will settle for a draw'published at 14:55 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Arsenal v Tottenham (16:30 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Tottenham won their first three league games of the season, while Arsenal lost all of theirs, but their results have been reversed in the past couple of weeks.

I can't say I've been surprised by their inconsistency. I said from the start that I don't fancy Tottenham's defence, and Harry Kane has not got going for them yet in the league.

Arsenal have improved from the way they started the season but I don't see them going on a long unbeaten run now.

They might get a draw here though. That's a result both managers would probably settle for given the circumstances.

    Lawro's prediction: 1-1

A reminder that we're around 90 minutes away from the north London derby. Who's excited?

  17. 'Wolves will be the happier'published at 14:51 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    HT: Southampton 0-0 Wolves

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can't fault the players in respect of what they're doing to win the game.

You want to tell them to move the ball a bit quicker and get into those pockets of space where more chances can be created.

They also could do with doing the basics a little better.

Wolves will be the happier team at half-time without a doubt.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 26 September 2021

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

    Not a classic.

  19. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

One minute of additional time. I'm sure the ref would blow now if he could.

  20. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Southampton 0-0 Wolves

Not the first-half we were hoping for but Wolves will be reasonably satisfied as half-time looms.

They haven't created too much going forward but they haven't been particularly troubled at the back either.

Bruno Lage will believe his side can still win this.
