It seemed very close to the naked eye, Harry Maguire was scrambling to get there he made a last ditch attempt to clear the ball.

Atalanta feel they have retaken the lead when Duvan Zapata ghosts in behind, fends off Harry Maguire's challenge and coolly converting past David de Gea.

But the flag goes up for offside.

Drama.

Federico Chiesa is clipped in the box and wins a penalty for Juventus. Paulo Dybala takes it and drags it miles wide.

He then gets to retake it as one of the Zenit St Petersburg players runs into the area early.

Dybala goes the exact same way but this time nestles it into the bottom right corner.

Elsewhere, Unai Emery's Villarreal have conceded against Young Boys and are drawing 1-1. Lille have gone 2-1 up over Sevilla.

Scott McTominay has to be careful, very careful.

Now Atalanta give the ball away sloppily and are almost punished but Bruno Fernandes' spin and shot from 12 yards out is superbly blocked by Jose Luis Palomino who is stationed perfectly in front of goal.

Teun Koopmeiners' shot loops into the area but Duvan Zapata is offside as he gets a strike away.

Meanwhile, Eric Bailly is hobbling now. United wouldn't want to lose another centre-half.

I want to see Man United move the ball quicker at the top end of the pitch - they need to be better in possession and stop being sloppy. If they do that they can really hurt Atalanta.

It's not a given that because they did that a couple of weeks ago at Old Trafford they will do the same here tonight but they have the potential to do it, they have shown signs.

It is more difficult when you're away from home but this game is still in the balance.
