Atalanta 1-1 Man Utd
BT Sport
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport: "What more can you say about this guy Cristiano Ronaldo? He just turns up when the team is in need."
Former United midfielder Paul Scholes: "A great goal. That backheel from Bruno Fernandes is the best part of that. Ronaldo has all the composure in the world and buried it.
"It wasn't great again though, a lot of mistakes in the first-half and Paul Pogba will not be enthralled by his performance, he has given the ball away a lot."
Former England international Eni Aluko: "Was there a distraction for David de Gea? He should save it but it has been sloppy from United. They need to step it up."
Jonathan David scored a penalty for Lille a few minutes before half time to bring them level with Sevilla.
But Barcelona are still yet to score against Dynamo Kyiv. That is the only game that remains goalless at half time.
Bayern and Villarreal still lead, while Juventus are drawing 1-1 with Zenit St Petersburg.

Tayub Hussain: very smart play from Bruno, eyes in the back of his head
Paul Garnett: THAT is a Manchester United goal...quick movement and passing...where has it been all half
Atalanta 1-1 Man Utd
You don't see this too often.
Opposition manager Gian Piero Gasperini has come over to Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the half and the United man puts his arm around him.
It's all very cordial between the two with smiles on their faces.
Atalanta 1-1 Man Utd
United feel behind and lost Raphael Varane to injury but finish the half on a high through a delightful team goal.
Atalanta 1-1 Man Utd
Can hear only the United fans now, serenading their returning star.
Where would they be this season without Cristiano Ronaldo??

Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
Cristiano Ronaldo will get all the credit but that is a fantastic team goal - it's the first time in this half where they've kept the ball, they've not been sloppy, stepped up the pace on the edge of the Atalanta penalty area and the moment they did they ripped them apart.
The run from Bruno Fernandes is fantastic, he backheels it knowing Ronaldo will be there and it's a touch and finish we have come to expect from him over the years. A beautiful Manchester United team goal.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Ohh that is a beauty!
United finally work a quick, one touch move and get the leveller.
It's the Portuguese duo linking up, Cristiano Ronaldo receiving the ball in the area from compatriot Bruno Fernandes' stunning backheel and he finishes it off with aplomb. He couldn't miss.
That is Ronaldo's 138th Champions League goal and he now has four in four games in Europe since returning to United.
And a 'Siuuuu' to finish it off.
Atalanta 1-0 Man Utd
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is out on the touchline doing some sort of gesturing with his hands.
Don't think event the players know what he is trying to show them.
(See that Ronaldo clip from the Liverpool game?)
Atalanta 1-0 Man Utd
Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
The speed at which Atalanta get back for the counter-attack means they have slowed Man United attacks down and forced them to play across the pitch and be patient in their build-up. There's been a lack of concentration from United.
Morato has got one back for Benfica but Bayern still lead in Germany thanks to goals from Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry.
It's still goalless between Dynamo Kyiv and Barcelona but Villarreal are 1-0 up against Young Boys. Former Watford man Etienne Capoue was the goalscorer.
Juventus are pushing for the lead against Zenit St Petersburg. Alvaro Morata had a goal ruled out for offside earlier. They are drawing 1-1.
Sevilla are still 1-0 up over Lille.
Atalanta 1-0 Man Utd
Despite the attacking talents on show, United are finding it a struggle to make in-roads into the Atalanta backline.
They've barely tested goalkeeper Juan Musso.

That game against Spurs looking more and more like a 'papering over the cracks' performance.
Tim
I don't care how "big" a name he is or what he has won with his national team, Pogba is prancing around like a show pony and giving the ball away far too much. If Ole wants to assert his authority in the dressing room, get him off at HT.
Dave, Manchester
Atalanta 1-0 Man Utd
Five minutes to go to half-time, turgid stuff from United.
